This newly updated oceanside 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is located in Misiones del Cabo, a secluded oceanfront community, with a semi-private beach and exceptional views of the sea of Cortez and the Arch. As you step into the condo, it’s bright and airy. The spacious kitchen features granite countertops, an electric stove, and a dining area. Sliding glass doors open up to the balcony off the living room where you can enjoy spectacular views and sunsets of Land’s End. There’s Free Wi-Fi, a 50” smart TV, 2 mini- splits for air conditioning, filtered water, and an electric BBQ.

This beach resort features one swimming pool with swim up bar and restaurant, and mini-store. The beach has great snorkeling with lots of colorful fish you can see just by stepping into the water. Adjacent to the resort, are world class restaurants and entertainment. Visit the Sunset Da Mona Lisa restaurant, Manta, the rooftop bar at the Thompson Hotel, Puerta Vieja restaurant, and Sead.

Misiones del Cabo is one of the most sought after areas due to its location and panoramic views. Costco, El Fresco and other shopping are only a few minutes away. The resort is less than five miles from downtown enough to enjoy all it has to offer and far enough away to avoid the solicitors and crowds.

Condo exactly as described. Super nice touch to have coffee and fresh fruit plate upon arrival. Location is great. Close enough to downtown Cabo but quiet area. The only minor downside was Roku tv which you need to have a subscription otherwise no tv (we logged in our Netflix account). Lastly but most important is Fernando who is available to provide airport transfer, will bring you to the local grocery store on the way in. We had questions during our stay and he was amazingly helpfull. Gratias!

A Little Piece of Paradise

We had a great stay at the condo and the view was amazing! The VIEW, was just breathtaking! We sipped our coffee out on the balcony every morning, watching the local surfers and just taking it all in. We did venture downtown, which was about 3 miles away using Uber. Hung out at the pool a few days and the beach was a short walk Just an overall great vacation.

Pluses and Minuses

First, the good news. It would be difficult to find such a great view for this price. We loved the view, spent lots of time outside on the balcony. Though we were directed to use the beach to the left of the property, we actually used the beach to the right, every day, and which felt like our own private beach. The view and the whale show were amazing. Some things to know in advance - the building itself appears to be a former resort, is rundown and shabby. The sidewalks leading up to the building are cracked, exposed rebar. There is evidence of a “reception” and “doctors office” sign where the letters have been chiseled off. The elevator has a smashed mirror and rusty bits. The unit has some promise, with new appliances, what looks like a few recently added furniture pieces. There are also some shabby garage sale quality items that were disappointing. There could be better storage for unpacking clothes, though I was able to make do. I am a terrible housekeeper yet the cleanliness fell short of my standards. For example, dusty bakeware in the oven drawer. The blender required a thorough cleaning. Many dishes and serveware were not clean. Conclusion - husband would stay there again, I would not. Know what you’re in for, and decide if a great view, beach, and location is what you want, overlook the rest.

Great spot to relax

This was a perfect spot for two folks who just wanted to relax. Views from the balcony of surfers, whales, yachts and of course sunsets. Bring your binocs! Private snorkeling beach on other side, appreciated the beach chairs,cooler and umbrella. Great friendly poolbar beside bldg 3 with good food.Nice location away from the crowds of downtown. Cathy and Fernando nice to deal with.Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome Sea View

The overall building is run down and neglected.The condo itself did have an awesome view however had many issues. If you used more the one burner on the electric stove top it would trip the circuit breaker - 15 amp and was not a dedicated circuit - many lights plug ins on same circuit. Kitchen sink drain right from day 1 was almost completely plugged. One of the bathroom sink drains was completely disconnected. Sliding shower door was missing so when you had a shower the floor would be flooded. We met many other guests who were demanding money back due to poor condition of building.

Nice stay in Cabo

Condo is very close, short walking distance, to The Cape which is where we were attending a wedding. 2 pool areas, one with tiki hut with food and drinks, one just with chairs. Beautiful views from condo. Fernando is great, will pick you up from airport, take you for groceries, there to help if anything goes wrong.

Stay at Misones del Cabo

My wife and I traveled to Cabo San Lucas and decided to stay at a private condo and not at an all inclusive resort. We are glad we did. We had a great time there. The 1BR condo was great for us. He had a wonderful view of the Arch and the ocean. We have some great photos of the sunsets we shared with friends. This complex consists of several buildings which had a bar/small outdoor restaurant. At the entrance of the complex is a restaurant we walked to for breakfast and lunch on occasion. The host provided us a name of a driver and we developed a secondary driver which took us to our destinations. I would highly recommend for those seeking to travel to Cabo, to stay at the host's condo. The area of the condo and downtown around the marina and other areas, we felt completely safe. We plan to come back to Cabo in the future.

Great view

Did a solo trip to Cabo and stayed at Cathy's condo. The view alone is worth the price. Short drive into Cabo town and 66 stairs to an excellent swimming/snorkeling beach. There's an awesome surfing beach on the other side. I was there in August and the AC struggled to keep up with the heat but it was not uncomfortable, and I was mostly there at night. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling on a budget who doesn't want to give up the million dollar view.

Disappointing

First of all, Fernando and Cathy were very kind in providing transportation to and from the airport and a trip to the grocery store which we greatly appreciated. We were disappointed in the all around property as it is in poor condition in comparison to other VRBO’s we have rented. The pool is NOT heated as advertised (very cold), the pool bar and hot tubs are not operational, and the grounds could use some TLC. The condo unit itself was just ok and the view was its best feature. We left two days early. This is merely our opinion and your experience may be different.

Wonderful apartment for our Cabo vacation

Fernando and Cathy were wonderful hosts. Fernando picked us up from the airport and took us shopping before heading to the apartment. He hung out at the supermarket in case we needed help and helped bring our bags up to the apartment. The space was clean and had wonderful views of Monuments beach and El Arco. We spent more time on the public beach next door because we enjoyed watching the surfers and the sunsets. Would definitely book again. It felt like we were visiting Cabo with knowledgeable local friends. Fantastic time.

Relaxing stay with beautiful views!

Location is wonderful if you want to be in a quiet area but still have lovely beach access. We appreciated food and drinks at pool area when we didn’t want to go out. Cathy and Fernando very helpful with transportation. Would stay here again…

Wonderful stay with amazing views

There are so many great things to say about Cathy's condo. The property is an a great location- close enough to the marina/downtown but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The property is quiet, clean and well maintained. Everyone was very friendly, especially the parking attendants. Having an El Fresco grocery store so close was very nice- the bakery is a definite must. You have close access to two small beaches. Great places to relax and just watch the boats and whales. We saw whales everywhere! We had binoculars so that helped. Water is a little rough but we did some snorkeling when it calmed down. Cathy's condo was clean, comfortable and very accommodating. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room had everything we needed. Added bonus was the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and snorkel gear, Lastly was the balcony- the highlight of the condo. We spent every morning and evening looking out towards the bay, the arch, the boats and of course the whales. The views and sunsets were spectacular! Cathy communicated quickly and always answered our questions and provided recommendations. Check in and check out were a breeze. Highly recommend staying at her condo 7406 (she has others) when visiting Cabo!

I'd stay again

I was here for about a week. The condo was clean and well kept, just the right size for 1 or 2 people. The Good: The location was close enough to Cabo but away from the bustle. Easy to get Ubers. The kitchen had most of the gadgets I needed. Communication with the owner was good and everything was how it was supposed to be. The view of Cabo itself from the balcony was fantastic. The Bad: Nothing really. What Might Have Been Better: These items are not in the control of the owner, so I didn't deduct any stars. My first night, there were some drunken noisy girls nearby screaming, dancing and playing loud music until 1am. If I was 25, I'd have joined them but that was many years ago and I just wanted sleep. They were gone the next day. There were workmen there in the day but they weren't really all that noisy so it wasn't a bother. Day time high temps hit 95-99 degrees. The two air conditioners inside struggled to keep up, but given the heat that's understandable. Just headed to the bar/pool and everything was fine.

Misiones del Cabo experience

We had a wonderful time. The condo was just what we needed. It was quiet, clean and had just what we would want. Views from the porch were spectacular. We even had two fireworks displays on the weekend that we were there. The restaurant on site was very good and very reasonably priced. We went there several times for dinner. Great overall experience there.

Lacking some things….

Upon arrival, we were told there is no parking pass and to park in undesignated area, if available. Texted owner that her instructions conflicted with what we were told. She did respond fairly quickly but failed to tell us prior to arrival that parking is now only for owners. Pictures on listing were accurate but the bathroom is where there were issues, ring in toilet which was very unpleasant to see (tried to clean myself but would not come off). Shower does have glass door covering only half the opening, which caused lots of water to splash outside creating a slip hazard. Internet/Roku was ok at best. Constantly buffering if we tried to watch HD. Views were great, but because of what it lacked, I probably would not stay here again unless these things were fixed.

Very Relaxing

Nice clean condo with a great view all day long. Beautiful beach and the pool area and restaurant were great. Having a designated parking spot was so helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Views

The condo is the perfect size for a couples getaway. The amenities of the condo are more than adequate for extended stays. We felt very safe at Misiones. The location can’t be beat! There are some restaurants within walking distance such as Jazz on the Rocks. Walmart, Costco, and Freska are close by making it easy to stock up on necessities. Downtown and the marina are just 10 minutes away. The views from the balcony of the arch and downtown are some of the best anywhere in Cabo San Lucas. Cathy was a great host and helped us immensely by shipping an item we had accidentally left behind. I would recommend this place and plan on going back again.
