Welcome to Peak 7! There are so many reasons to love Edelweiss Mountain Home. The spacious downstairs open floor plan is perfect for hanging with friends and family around the fire place; laughing around a big meal and maybe even spotting a fox through the large picture windows! The large outdoor deck is also great for fireside chats, grilling and relaxing in the hot tub. Only minutes from the base; you have easy access to resort but are far enough away from the hustle of downtown to unwind.
ABOUT THE SPACE:
Nestled on about a half acre of wooded lot, you'll find plenty of space for relaxing, enjoying friends and family and watching for birds and other 4-legged creatures. Our home can comfortably sleep 8.
Dining room:
Gather around the large dining room table that can seat 8 comfortably. If you are working from your home away from home this large table can also get it done with the high speed wi-fi that is available throughout the home.
Kitchen:
The updated galley kitchen has all you need to make a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or crowd-pleasing meal after a long day of enjoying all that Breck has to offer. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, mixer and a full complement of pots/pans and dishes to make any meal you desire.
Living room:
Large picture windows let you see the beauty of the woods around you but in the comfort of the home. Cozy up with a cup of hot chocolate and some throws or zen out in front of the gas fireplace. If you want to catch up on some shows, a 60 inch smart TV can connect to your favorite streaming service.
Foyer and ski/storage closet:
You can store your skis, snowboards or other gear in this lockable closet. Enter from outside the front porch or from the foyer to keep things neat and tidy. The main trash bin is also kept here for when the kitchen trash becomes too full.
First floor laundry and bathroom:
You'll have access to a full size washer and dryer to use as you need during your stay. Also a full bathroom is available on the first floor. Please bring your own body soap, conditioner/shampoo for your personal use. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are provided.
Patio and hot tub:
One of our favorite spots is the patio. This large wrap around deck with woods all around is a great spot to look for the wildlife; especially in the warmer months. Better yet, soak away in the hot tub while watching the stars. A large gas grill is available as well as a gas firepit. In the snowy season; most of the patio will be covered in snow but you will have access to the grill and the hot tub. We love sitting in the hot tub while the snowflakes fall!
Master bedroom with bath:
In this room you'll find a comfy queen bed as well as a daybed that can double as a twin sleeper, or if you pull it out, function as another king bed. A pretty view of the mountain and forest from one of the picture windows is available from this bedroom. Attached is a master bathroom with a whirlpool tub and attached master closet. There is plenty of closet space and underbed storage in the master bedroom. The master closet has a second entrance that you might consider having all guests use for extra storage. All bedrooms come with a humidifier for your use.
Second floor bedroom:
This cute bedroom also comes with queen bed. Extra storage is available in roll away drawers under the bed, or in the cub shelving against the wall.
Second floor bathroom:
Full (shower) bathroom that can be easily shared by all guests.
Observatory bedroom:
Up here is another queen bed as well as a sleeper sofa. Extra storage is provided in roll away drawers under the bed. You can sneak a view of the mountains up here.
Guest access:
An electronic lock will be used for entry into the home. Our driveway can fit up to four cars. No parking on the street is allowed. During snowy conditions you must have 4WD/AWD for access. The snowplow service will come whenever there is >3 inches of snow. Please cluster all cars to allow them to clear as much as the driveway as possible during snow events. Snow shovels and salt buckets are also provided for your use.
Misc:
The main heating source in the house is via baseboard heating which can be controlled via wall thermostats or on the unit depending on the room you are in. A gas fireplace is also present in the living room. Please remember to keep all items at least 1 foot away from the baseboard heat as safety precaution. Like many mountain homes, we do not have air conditioning. Also please note that we have a front doorbell with a camera and two outdoor cameras to monitor the entrances and wildlife. No cameras are present inside the home.

No unregistered guests allowed.
Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
Parking is only allowed in the driveway. Do not park on the street.
Please respect the noise curfew of 9 pm.
Please respect check-in and check-out times.
Trash can never be left outside. Please take the trash to the ski closet or place in the kitchen trash bin before you leave.
Please take extra care of your keys (if in use). Lost keys incur a replacement fee.
Please take care of the furnishings and do not rearrange.
No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
The only outdoor fire permitted is use of the outdoor gas firepit in the warmer months.
Please keep all items at least 1 foot away from baseboard heaters.
