AC was fine, refrigerator worked well, bed was comfortable. Air freshener was overpowering…unplugged it and placed in bag. Shower curtain fell down a few times. Shower head needs replacing. Replace old thrift store towels.

The room was clean. Communication with owner was prompt and easy. Would stay there again if I’m ever in Tampa. You definitely need a rental car, Uber/Lyft, or taxi to get anywhere.

This was a converted garage which is an effeciency. Its a good place to leave your stuff while you go to eat at Ybor City or watch Grapefruit Baseball at the Yankee stadium. Also, good soul food within walking distance (BBQ & Seafood).

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was close to the interstate, clean and very comfortable. The street was very quite as well. I do have a few suggestions: create a nice coffee/tea bar area because the items were old. The outside Oasis was nice just need cleaning up some. Overall, we loved our mini vacation in Tampa.

The place was very clean and orderly. We very much enjoyed our stay. It was perfect because it was a pretty centralized location from most of the attractions…about 10-15 mins. The bed was cozy and comfortable. The place could have probably used some spare standard sized pillows and a blanket for when it gets chilly some nights. Other than that, we highly recommend staying here.

Drew & Audrey’s stay

The place was great!! Very clean , comfortable and the price was great!! We travel for art festivals and this is the perfect place, parking wasn’t a problem and the little kitchen was ideal. So pleased that we found this, when we return to Tampa, I’ll surely be staying here again.

Enjoyable and convenient

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend trip to Tampa. It is located conveniently to many attractions and plenty of very good restaurants. The host was very responsive to questions. The accommodations are comfortable for a long weekend!

Perfect for our term stay with our doggies!

We had A/C issues and needed a place to stay to escape the heat. It was near downtown and a very nice place to stay.

My stay was nice, the room was clean and very easy to transition into. But as I stayed longer there were things that went wrong. The WiFi went out the day of, which was okay but was connected to a smart system that once disconnected made an alarm go off to notify me of it being disconnected. It went off every thirty seconds even at night as we slept, the light and alarm from the smart system made it hard to sleep. That went on for days as I reached out but wasn’t able to speak to the owner as directly as I hoped. I was then contacted by a property manager. She was nice but would knock on the door multiple times throughout my stay to fix the problems she had said were fixed a lot of times without a heads up. Assuring each time it had been fixed and got frustrated when it would turn out to not be. She then would send people that she had said worked for her but had never informed me of who they actually were. Some coming to the door late at night without warning to fix the smart system and wifi all over again. I just wish that it had been fixed before my arrival so that I could stay in peace without worry of system alarms or different persons coming to the door. Eventually someone came by with a brand new router which was great but the alarms were still buzzing. It went on for a week which was half my stay. Then after all was said and done I received at text saying the electricity would be out completely. The room was great but I wish I could’ve had more privacy/ communication.

We do apologize for the WiFi issue. It was a FiOS issue for the entire neighborhood. They had to run new underground wire and it did take a few days. Hopefully the portable WiFi was a decent temporary solution. We have all new underground wires and the neighborhood is back to normal. Again apologies for the extra check ups but we wanted to make sure you had service. I was one of the people stopping by to check on you, I just didn’t announce that I was the owner. Safe travels.

Nice spot

This was a good find for what we needed, just a room to sleep at night since we were out and about all day. The neighborhood seemed to be quiet and i felt safe, the room was also located conveniently by downtown so a short drive to restaurants and nightlife if thats your thing. Will stay again.
