A few meters from the Cathedral of Sé (the oldest church in the capital), and at the foot of the Sao Jorge Castle, in the pretty little square of Santo Antonio da Sé, in a building of the eighteenth classified as a national monument, we offer you this magnificent apartment of 190 m2 restored in the old way in every detail.<br>Located on the 4th floor, the view of the churches and the square, will take you into the old town.<br>Very bright, it is composed of four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen and a large living room (40m2), all furnished with care.<br>Azulejos, woodwork, moldings, 3.50m high ceilings, will transport you to the heart of history.<br>You will be seduced.<br>At your doorstep, the traditional tram 28 will guide you through the narrow alleys of Alfama.<br>ps: We have just installed the fiber with a speed of 1000 mbps :-)<br>We have also changed our cleaning teams and the linen company to welcome you in optimal conditions.

Absolutely spectacular in every way! So well appointed. Cannot say any more positive things about the location! The spacious, beautifully restored property is certain to be appreciated. Great place Central location. Big kitchen. Only a couple minor issues. Since No AC, need more fans. The one fan in living room was not working. Great elevator but know that it is 7 steps to reach it Over all Great stay.

The apartment was perfect, close location to all we were able to do in our 5 day stay!! We had 8 family, 3 generations, my 81 year old parents were able to manage the location well. It was perfect for all!! Very hot while we were there, but we would get wonderful breezes in the evenings with the open windows!! We had a lovely stay, would definitely book again!!

This place is all about the location; you are literally staying next door to the church with gorgeous views from every window. It is an old, historic building, so the doors don't really close properly, there was construction noise ongoing, the walls are thin, the kitchen is a little awkward to work in, BUT it is beautiful and such a unique experience. Has modern appliances, bathrooms, good showers, plumbing, electricity, a lovely gathering space to play games, and a large kitchen table our group of seven adults fit at nicely. Would not hesitate to recommend just be prepared that this is an experience in location and historical charm, not necessarily all the modern comforts.

The apartment was located in the middle of the tourist district which was good on transportation wise. Essential things to be used in the apartment was locked away, and we had to keep chatting with the host until someone came to verify that the iron was not available but locked in the closet along with the broom which we needed but didn’t have( broom). Safety was a concern in the apartment due to locks protruding from the doors( gotten a big bruise from it). Told the host about my concerns but she was fixated on turning lights off and conserving water for her bills. Never did she apologize about my bruises from the door. Towels need to be changed, was old. Overall, I would not recommend the apartment until these things are addressed.

The location of the apartment and the view are unbeatable... it's a very old building, and the apartment is on the fourth floor, but the building does have an elevator. As you might expect given the location in the heart of the city, the noise from street level was noticeable (particularly in the front bedrooms). Once we got the instructions, the check in process was smooth enough and checkout wasn't an issue. The kitchen and living area are spacious and the beds were comfortable.

The apartment is lovely. centrally located and our 4th floor had incredible views. The host communication was quick and helpful, the entry system works very well. There are 12 steps up from vault like landing door to a nice modern elevator, the kitchen is fully functional as we made breakfast most days except when we ate at Folks (just across street on uphill corner - really good and beautifully prepared). We had 5 men travel together to see an international rugby match, the apartment never felt small and could have handled more.

This was a beautiful, roomy apartment in a fantastic location. We couldn’t have asked for a more ideal spot to explore Lisbon - it was easy to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. We loved the charm of the Alfama neighbourhood too. The apartment itself had a great layout and enough space for 7 adult women. The space was beautiful, with great views and unique tiling on the walls. The old wooden doors between the rooms are somewhat creaky and you can definitely hear other people move around within the apartment, but this wasn’t an issue for us. It was on the 4th floor but I didn’t notice any bothersome noise from the street. The hosts were also friendly and responsive. Overall this was a fantastic place to stay for a group of several adults wanting to explore the city!

It was our first trip to Lisbon and we didn't know what to expect from the house. It was very charming, clean and comfortable. We loved the hard work that was put to restore the apartment. It was full of character and the views were amazing! We were steps away from everything in the heart of the historic district. It was a little noisy but that didn't bother us since it was expected for the location. I wish it had a space to sit and enjoy the outdoor view but the balconies were standing room only. The owners responded quickly to our questions and gave great advice for transportation in a new country. Comfortable shoes are a must because of the hills and cobblestone streets of Lisbon.

To answer for the balconies there are tables and chairs for any balcony that you can use in proposit to rest and enjoy the great city, cathédrale and river view but sometime our guests put it inside to use it. .I hope you will come back to our place ❤️take care ❤️
