2 bedroom cottage in Ansted, WV on rim of the New River Gorge. Fully Equipped kitchen with all new appliances including dishwasher and Kuerig machine. Washer and dryer. Directly across from Hawks Nest State Park with access to trails and the ski lift down to river and activities including jet boat rides. Minutes from Adventures on the Gorge and all whitewater and climbing activities. 15 Minutes from shopping and restaurants in Fayetteville. Internet WiFI and smart tv for your own streaming services.

Great location and nice place to stay!

We were traveling through the area on the way to the east coast and loved the location of this place! We hiked some of the trails in the state park across the street and drove to the national park about 20 minutes away. Lovely place and thankful it was pet friendly so we could bring along our dogs! Thanks!

Perfect location, cozy home!

We had a great stay. We were able to easily walk across the street and see the amazing Hawks Nest views, and we ate dinner at the restaurant there overlooking the river. It was a pretty quick drive over to the Canyon Rim visitor center at New River Gorge, and we spent the day hiking and fishing in the park. Outside of the occasional car driving by, nighttime was pleasantly dark and quiet (a welcome change for us city dwellers). There was a nice, large dining table for evening board games (we brought our own, but the house has several good ones as well!), and I would definitely stay here again. It's the ideal location for exploring the nearby parks. Also recommend checking out the nearby Freefolk Brewery Taproom! Great atmosphere, dog friendly, good beers, and tasty food.

Great location & cozy stay

We enjoyed the long weekend there. Hiking and sightseeing. The house was right across the street from Hawk’s Nest park. Highly recommend going to the overlook there and watch the sun come up behind the mountains. Literally a 5 minute walk.

Enjoyed our stay 🙂

We had everything we needed and more. A well stocked kitchen, plenty of bathroom towels and a wonderful location. We would stay at Hawk’s Nest Hideaway in the future.
