Spacious tri-level home with Mt Rainier views and privacy. So much space to enjoy with views on all western & northerly windows. Wrap around deck with wonderful outdoor covered sitting area. Close to White Pass Ski area and Mt Rainier National Park, & Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

As a reminder: This property does not allow pets.

We give our guests privacy. But are available when needed.
Other details to note:

During the summer a burn ban may go into effect in all of Lewis County. During this time campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and any other form of burning may be prohibited.
Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guests responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.

We do not supply the wood for the fireplace, so please be so kind to bring your own in case you would like to use it.

The cabin is situated in a small vacation town of Packwood, Washington. Its remote location and small town charm offer a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. Occasionally, you may be greeted by wandering herds of elk.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend! The home was spacious, clean, and a great layout for us. Location was excellent, close to the store and easy access to White Pass. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for meals in. We would definitely return next winter for another ski weekend!

House fit 2 families great. Funky layout with multiple levels but great views. Main complaint was that the water had a very strong sulfur smell. Fortunately they provide bottled water but that doesn’t help for showering. Found some mouse poop in a drawer with table linens. Shower towels were provided but no wash cloths or hand towels.

Great location. Comfortable seating in multiple areas. Nice view of Mt. Rainier, however windows dirty. Many stairs; not enough hand rails. Exterior porch and plants in need of maintenance. Rugs need padding underneath to keep from slipping.

What a great place! We had two families with elementary aged children stay here for a ski weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of room and really pretty views.

Pleasant base for Mt. Rainier Hiking

This multi-level cabin served two families (five adults, one teenager) comfortably. We enjoyed grilling on the deck both days. Our foreign guests were impressed with the small herd of Elk near downtown Packwood

Excellent location and setup

This house was the perfect location and set up for 2 families visiting Mount Rainier National Park. the bunk room was great for all of our kids and the adults all had privacy. The views were amazing. we loved being able to look out and see mt rainier. the kitchen was fully stocked and it was great having a grill out on the deck. We had issue with the water. I believe they are on a well and it smelled awful. They did provide some drinking water that we could use and then refill when we needed. Also the beds are in desperate need of replacement. but overall this house fit all of our needs
