Find Serendipity at our peaceful newly renovated mid-century modern Pocono chalet.

The open floor plan allows everyone to enjoy each others company with a loft for additional space to work & play while admiring the expansive floor to ceiling glass windows and exposed beams!

Required: Liability waiver for hot tub use.

Outside, the home features a propane grill** with Adirondack chairs, a brand new outdoor dining room set with plenty of seats plus an outdoor picnic table for fun and games. There is a brand new gazebo for guests to enjoy. We provide an EV charger for electric vehicles.

** We do not provide propane. There is an honor system where guests leave full tanks behind for the next guests to use and so forth. **

Memorial Day weekend is the first weekend for the pool & lake to be open for the year until Labor Day weekend.

There is a garbage disposal site located approximately 3 minutes drive from the property. We ask all guests to dispose trash upon checkout. It is located near they main community entrance. We will need some information from you to complete guest registration.

The local community will only issue a maximum of 8 passes per reservation. Each pass is needed per guest to access the local facilities such as the pool, beach/lake, clubhouse, and sporting courts. Community rules do not allow any lost passes to be replaced. Children under the age of 5 do not count towards the maximum pass limit.

Relaxing Weekend!

We truly enjoyed our stay! Property as depicted on the site. Our hosts arranged for local baked goods to be dropped off as a sweet treat (the focaccia bread was amazing!). We hiked some local trails as well as visited some nearby wineries. Gavin’s guide was very helpful. Great stay!

3rd Visit...and Counting (Repeats for Life)

This is the 3rd time the hubs and I have stayed at this beyond-amazing rental property! It has everything you need for a relaxing / need-to-unwind getaway. (1) BEST HOT TUB EVER; (2) the beds and pillows are super comfortable; (3) Delicious baked goods from a local baker on arrival (she's a wonderful artist, too); (4) All the comforts from home (SmartTV, etc); (5) stocked kitchen (with K-Cups); (6) gas grill for after you visit and The Butcher Shoppe in Poconos Lake (check when they're open as they temporarily close throughout the year); and (7) great local restaurants (for when you don't fee like grilling). If you need a quiet getaway...this is THE PLACE to go. <3

Quick getaway

The chalet was exactly as pictured! The host was communicative and easily reachable, ready to assist. We only stayed for two nights but we greatly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was stocked with tools necessary to cook meals at home. The EV charger gave us peace of mind and allowed us to quickly power our vehicle. We appreciated the blackout shades in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The list goes on and in! We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful, clean, modern chalet

What a fantastic stay! The chalet was Preston’s and beautifully decorated. The hot tub and fireplace complemented our ski getaway. And the host was amazingly responsive and thoughtful.

Beautiful Getaway

My mom and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful and clean cabin. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is very nice. I did not understand a $400 fee that was added to the cleaning, pet, And administrative fees … that was the only Downside.

Perfect Getaway :)

The Serendipity Chalet was clean, comfortable and serene. Nestled in a wooded neighborhood, it was decorated to make you feel at peace. We loved everything about it - the deck, the hot tub, the decor, the kitchen amenities, close to so many great parks - just all around fantastic! Thanks Gavin!

Perfect setting for family getaway

Well-appointed chalet with charming touches, in a tranquil setting. Couldn't ask for anything more - Owners are excellent with communication and expectations. Community was quiet & we enjoyed the beach/lake/pool amenities and local offerings. ❤️cabin vibes 10/10 - our best vrbo stay yet!

Nice chalet in the woods

This chalet is nestled in the woods of a quiet neighborhood. Although we could see other homes close by, we never heard any noise from them. There is a hot tub which looks amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the yard and watching birds and deer. It is located within 10 minutes of a community pool and lake area. There are restaurants fairly close as well. This is a great place to relax and rewind. The host was fantastic and was very quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed the stay.

Amazing Property

The chalet was so cozy, warm and peaceful. Hot tub was awesome! Everything was pretty much perfect. The owner provided 2 different baked goods (complimentary) from local bakery, they were SOOO GOOD. Nice finishes throughout. Definitely recommend staying here for a great getaway.

Great home!

Well maintained property. Wildlife up to the hot tub at night was really cool! All cooking items more than adequate. I am going to rent this specific house again as my experience was excellent.

Absolutely beautiful!

This property was amazing! It was very fresh and clean which is important especially when looking at places that are pet friendly. The view off the main room was beautiful as we were greeted by deer everyday. Gavin was very helpful and the hospitality began right after booking. Gavin was organized and had everything ready for us upon arrival. My family and I had a lovely time and will definitely come and visit again in the future!

Serendipity!

We loved our stay ! My friends and I were looking for a place for a spontaneous weekend trip and serendipity exceeded our expectations. It was so clean and you can tell that every detail in the house was thought out for the guest in mind. We really enjoyed the fresh focaccia bread and cookies that were left by a local baker! We can’t wait to return!

Repeat Rental...and Can't Wait to Get Back

Work/Life balance not so balanced? Need to get away to unwind...to have zero worries? This chalet is THE PLACE to be! This was our second stay at this very same chalet. Just as with the 1st visit, we needed to get away, a temporary break from life responsibilities, and this chalet delivered! My only worry about renting a VRBO home is, "Will the mattress be comfortable...will I be able to get a good night's sleep?" Here? ABSOLUTELY!! These mattresses and pillows are a dream come true! So if that's a worry bead for you...have no fear here. The owners of this chalet have done the right amount of renovations (i.e., where they count). The kitchen has great appliances and it is well-stocked with every gadget / utensil you'll ever need. I also appreciate how if non-perishables are left from previous renters, they're not thrown out (cooking spray, salt & pepper, for example). But let's talk about why the hubs and I came back to this chalet, and why we'll always pick this place for a Poconos retreat: the hottub! Oh Mylanta! This is the most amazing hottub ever! It's what's missing out of our lives. You wake up the next day feeling like you had an actual massage! The grill is wonderful, too, and if the place is open, The Butcher Shoppe at Pocono Lake has the most amazing selection of items to grill. It's a perfect location close to restaurants (if you don't feel like grilling), hiking, etc. Can't wait to get back for a 3rd visit :)

Lovely Poconos cabin with hot tub

Updated a-frame in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect get away spot in the Poconos! The house has everything you need plus a 7-person hot tub. We loved it!

Beautifully designed, clean, family-friendly chalet

Gavin’s chalet was beautifully designed and cozy with great attention to detail… and it was spotless! It was the perfect place to getaway with our family and it’s so close to NYC!! The outdoor amenities such as the fire pit and the hot tub were the definition of relaxation. Wendy was so friendly and timely on her responses which was greatly appreciated. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!
