We enjoyed being three houses from the ocean, beautiful neighborhood, and hanging out in and by the pool. Mike the landlord was Great! Communicated, responsive, and friendly. Would book this property again.

My family of nine loved our week in Avalon. This house is in a great location as it is so close to the beach. I would say that and the pool were our favorite things about this house from the adults to the kids ranging from 3 1/2 -11 years old.Check in was easy, Wi-Fi was great. Lovely neighborhood.

Best Location and a Pool!

Great house for our multi-generational family to stay in. Short walk to the beach and the grandkids loved the pool. Mike is a super responsive and friendly host. We would definitely stay there again.

Great house with a great location

My family of 4 spent a long Easter weekend here - the house was perfect and owner super attentive. The location ( 4 houses from the beach and close to town) was phenomenal. We hope the house is available the next time we head down as we'd happily stay there again!

Relaxation

Accommodations were clean and comfortable, close to the beach, and the pool was wonderful. Weather was extremely hot but that's always a possibility in July! Pool was a life saver on those days that were too hot even for the beach. Air conditioning had trouble keeping up with the heat and humidity on 2 days but the owner worked hard to make everything right.

Location!

We had a terrific stay at this well appointed home in Avalon! Steps from a beautiful beach and stocked with all the essentials. The pool was perfect after spending some time at the beach. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and very comfortable furnishings. The owner was super responsive and provided lots of information about the area. We had a minor issue and he showed up immediately to resolve it. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a terrific beach vacation!

Great house in a great location

The house is great with a pool and covered area in the back, plus it is beach block to a great beach. Owner was super responsive to the few minor issues we had. Ocean view from the deck and easy parking.

The House was Cooler by a Mile!

We just finished a weeklong stay and have had a wonderful vacation. The location was excellent, the house was lovely and the host was extremely responsive, informative and friendly. All in all, our family trip to Avalon was everything we hoped for and so much more!

Avalon vacation

Great location on a beautiful beach block. The house had more than enough space and featured a nice, large pool with an outdoor bar/TV. Great space to wind down after a day at the beach.

Excellent!

The house is very clean, beautiful and in a great location. The host was super kind, personable and easy to reach. Will 100% stay here again! We stayed here with our two kids (ages 4 and 1). They had a blast and we had a great long weekend.

Great Vacation!

This was a wonderful location and a beautiful property. It was spacious with with multiple entertainment areas and large bedrooms. Just a short walk to the beach and a quiet part of the island. Mike was great with communication. We would love to go back!

Wedding Weekend Rental

We had the most lovely stay. The house was so well equipped and perfect for our group. The outdoor space with the pool was a favorite for the kids as well as adults. The hosts could not have been nicer and in touch prior to our stay all during the trip. I would highly recommend this house. We will definitely be returning.

Delightful stay

We had a beautiful, relaxing week in Avalon! ☀️ The house was well equipped, and had lots of room for us to spread out as a family with adult children! Our host was incredibly accommodating, and flexible with our stay! We will definitely be back to this house again! 😊

Shore Vacation

There is nothing like the Jersey Shore for vacation! When our kids were growing up we would go to Avalon every summer. This year was our return but with grand kids. I highly recommend 58 15th St. if you are looking looking for a great house and location. Everything about this home made it great for our group! Very clean and spacious with everything we needed!

Prime Location!

My family of 6 spent a fantastic week at this property. The location is phenomenal, literally a less than one minute walk to the dunes. 15th street is a less crowded section of beach than many others in Avalon, which is another plus. The house itself is dated and in need of some TLC, but that in no way detracted from our stay. The pool area was a fantastic post-beach location and our favorite part of the property. Communication with the owner was seamless. All told, we highly recommend this property (just know going in that you are paying to be 1 minute from the beach, NOT for a luxury property).

Wonderful proximity to beach, pool in good shape. Though it was clear this was a rental property, some obvious user fatigue, the owner was responsive when it was important. The few light switches that didn't work, tho to be fair owner did mention that before occupancy, the leak on pavement from maybe outdoor shower or hose which though a nice shower we did not use as the ocean was a bit cold for us to jump in. Overall I would recommend for a relaxing vacation.

Great location and outdoor amenities

We loved this Avalon house—we've rented different Shore/OBX homes in various towns/locations with another family for the last 15 years and this was the first time we loved a house and location enough to consider returning again. It was a quick walk to/from the beach and the outdoor spaces/amenities were game changers—backyard was perfect for watching the Paris Summer Olympics while staging our own events in the pool. Plenty of living space inside between the upstairs and downstairs living rooms, and bedrooms were all well-sized. Mike is incredibly attentive and quick to reply to any questions. Also had very clear house instructions. Thank you for such a great summer vacation!

Family Get Away Weekend

We had a great time down in Avalon for a long weekend. The house was beautiful and spacious. We were three couples and 3 babies. It was great that each family had their own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The backyard is beautiful. Hoping to go back in the summer to enjoy the pool. Very close to the beach. Mike the host was great. He was in touch with us from the beginning to end with any concerns we may have had. Which was none! Looking forward to another weekend at this beautiful home!

Awesome summer stay

Mike is absolutely amazing to work with. Hes attentive, responsive, pleasant and helpful. The house was immaculate and wonderful for our family (2 adults and 5 teenagers). Quiet street simple walk to the beach each day. The pool was a daily hit with the kids. The garage refrigerator and the extra beverage fridge in the room off the pool were extremely helpful for drinks. Plenty of room to spread out indoors and outdoors. Our only sadness was packing up to go home. I wish we couldve stayed another week!!! Thank you Mike for being such a great host.

Totally misrepresented

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival the house was filthy. It was very obvious that the house had not been vacuumed and dusted. There were dirty socks and candy wrappers under the beds where my kids slept. In addition, we couldn’t use the BBQ because it was crusty and dirty. The very limited kitchen utensils were dirty as well. We couldn’t even sit out on the terrace and enjoy the weather because the chairs were torn. The shower door in the master bathroom was missing so every time we showered the floor got sopping wet. There was no laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, paper towels, and toilet paper. Several TVs didn’t work, lamps didn’t function, and perhaps most concerning was the antiquated stereo system which was a potential fire hazard. It would overheat and shut down. We followed the house rules by keeping the volume below 50, but the system still overheated and shut down completely. The house is advertised as having an Xbox, but it is connected to a tv that cannot be turned on. Lastly, the home owners called us screaming and harassing us after we left because we forgot to move the trundle bed back and we had moved one of the beds on wheels. They also tried to shame us by calling us “dirty and disgusting people” after we cleaned up after our stay, but as I had said earlier the house was filthy upon our arrival and there weren’t any cleaning supplies. We would have been happy to have done a deeper clean of the bathrooms and kitchen stovetop but that is impossible without cleaning supplies. We were instructed to bring our own linens and blankets so I didn’t remake the beds with the linens that were there, assuming that the home owners would want to launder them prior to the next house guests. This house was advertised as a high end rental, but be warned that it is far from it. The appliances are over 20 years old, and the plastic floor boards throughout the main living area move underfoot. My suggestion to you is find a different house to stay at in Avalon! I repeat, this is NOT a high end rental.

As parents of three (now grown) children, we remember the challenges that a family vacation entails. We tried to think of all the amenities we enjoy when vacationing and put them together into one great experience. Why Avalon? location, location, location! One of only a few beach-block single family rental homes with a pool in all of seven-mile island. Just a few steps away from beautiful Avalon beach – voted best beach in mid-Atlantic. Our beach is lifeguard protected and 1 block from a designated surfing beach and a designated boogie board beach. Located in the quiet north end of town, yet only five blocks from town center. Leave your car and walk to great restaurants, bars, and your morning coffee.

This home has the best of everything. A private pool in your back yard, two second story decks (front and back) and a covered pool-side patio to get away from that mid-day sun. Lover level den and wetbar have direct access to the pool via 10-ft double sliding doors. We cater to families and so our home also provides a great area for the kids on the lower level complete with TV, and video game collection - while the adults can relax on the second level deck and enjoy the ocean views or take a swim in the private pool.
