BEACHFRONT GETAWAY! All new tile floors. Light and airy condo literally a few steps to the warm waters of the Gulf. All you need for a weekend, a week or more! The Beach House complex is located in the heart of the Island - easy distance to groceries, restaurants, bars and all there is to do on South Padre. Free parking and Free Wifi.Very private and exclusive gated complex with wonderful amenities, pool, hot tub. The condo offers a king bed in the bedroom and sofa bed ideal for 2 small children.

IMPORTANT: You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we do not work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be look after the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a persons life, please call 911.

VAYK GEAR is a premier BEACH Equipment Rental Company offering top-of-the-line gear for your perfect beach day. You may receive an email from them regarding a credit from Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals for the rental of your preferred beach equipment. Visit their website to select from a wide range of high-quality beach gear to make the most of your beach getaway.

The owners of Beach House #2202 welcome you to their beach home! While staying here, we ask that you follow a few requests that will make everyone’s stay more enjoyable and keep the property looking good year after year.

1. Parking ~ is limited to 1 vehicle. Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owners’ expense. Parking pass is a must you can pick it up at the manager's office in front of the main pool.

2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is NO MORE than 4 guests. There must be at least one adult 25 years of age or older, registered, present and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy.

3. Wheelchair accessible is for standard door front entrance and elevator only.

4. Pets ~ We DO NOT accept pets in our property. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.

5. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.

6. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed exterior dumpster on the sides of the building. Please DO NOT dispose of cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.

7. Pool ~ Please wash ALL sand from your body BEFORE entering our pool. The pool equipment cannot handle sand from the beach and causes damage and equipment failure. Please DO NOT leave your children unattended. Please observe pool hours.

8. BBQ ~ No BBQ pit is included.

9. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement for you to complete and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.


Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 2 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, 4-6 coffee pods and and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.

Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.

Subletting not allowed.

Note: The owners of this property will NOT allow Spring Break activity on the premises.

Check in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a smart lock on the entrance door.

The smart keypad door code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.

Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.

Service Animals need to be with the person they service 24/7. Service Animals cannot be left alone in the property. A service animal left alone in the property is not a service animal and will be penalized with a $400 fee.

Childs highchair and/or pack and play are available by request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.

"Early" check in and/or "Late" check out will be available, when possible, at a charge of $55 for each occurrence.

You are booking a private beach home. As much as we like to please your every need, we DO NOT work as hotels do. We are not a 24/7 service. Any overnight requests, other than REAL emergencies, will be look after the next day. If there is an emergency that threatens a persons life, please call 911.

Date changes might be granted depending on the date of the change for a $100 change fee plus any difference in price.

Cancellations for nightly reservations will receive a 96% refund if they are made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. Please note that a service fee of $25 will also be charged for all cancellations, regardless of the timing. There will be no refund if the cancellation comes is made This policy does not extend to bookings that are eligible for monthly discounts.

The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 8 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.

Beautifully peaceful

What a beautiful condo! My husband and I wanted to take our kids (15&12 now) on a birthday beach getaway. This condo and own far exceeded our expectations!! Thank you for a wonderful memory with my family. We will be back!

1 Week Stay. Great View!

The remodel of apt was partial truth. Kitchen needs remodeling . It was a nice apt that needs more remodeling and upgrades. Will be an excellent condo when done. . No washer and dryer. Great access to beach and local areas. Well equipped !! Great air conditioner! Watch out for extra fees from VRBO ! Rent straight to rental company! Sneaky deal they pulled.

Comfortable and perfect location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners and BOVR we so easy to work with. The app they send with all of the codes and details was great. They also got back to me quick when I needed something. It was good. The unit is in a great location. We could sit on the balcony and feel like we were floating on the ocean. It was quiet and so relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and we felt like we had everything we needed. I would go back today. The unit was clean and well outfitted. The building is older but well maintained, and our unit had been upgraded with new floors and shower. There is still some more they could do but all in all it was very nice. We loved walking down the beach to the cafe at The Palms for dinner. The beach here is great and not too crowded. Great place!

Wonderful getaway with spectacular view

The condo has gate access and parking was just outside the front door. The condo is also just steps to the elevator. There was a code for entering the condo so no worrying about a key to keep track of. The condo is an older unit, but is still very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has pretty much everything you could need. The view from the living room and bedroom were my main reason for staying here. The constant breeze makes it possible to sit on the balcony all day without getting too hot. You can watch the sunrise in the morning from the balcony or just laying in bed. We will surely be returning to this property again. The only things I would change are; have a larger microwave in the kitchen and provide upgraded seating and a table on the balcony. Also, the owners are very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hated to leave.

Perfect setup

What a great setup for our week on the beach! We had one kid with us who loved crashing on the big sectional sofa. The second floor balcony gave great views of the ocean in the mornings (can’t see the water from the first floor), and getting our gear to and from the beach was super easy with only one flight of stairs (elevator is slow, so the second floor is the place to be in this complex). We set up our umbrella and chairs each morning and would leave them out when we came in for a few hours at lunch, and felt good being able to keep an eye on our gear from the condo. We loved being able to spray off and jump in the pool each time that we came in from the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix some memorable meals from the fish we caught. I don’t know that there’s a better setup on South Padre for our family than this condo. The owners, Rod and Rosa, were super clear with instructions for parking, entry codes, etc. We didn’t have any questions or issues with the condo/property because of their organized communication. Near the end of the stay, we realized that we accidentally booked a day shorter than we thought. We texted the owners and received a quick response and confirmation to extend our trip - a totally hassle free experience. Thanks Rod and Rosa!

Perfect Thanksgiving Holiday

As a repeat client for BOVR-SPI we've become used to the best stay, service and rates on the island for the location and condo.. This stay not only met, but exceeded our previous rentals. The condo was clean, comfortable, outfitted and the view was spectacular!! Rod, Rosa and the entire crew at BOVR-SPI go beyond and above to ensure every detail is attended to. FIVE STARS for the condo and BOVR isn't enough.

Ok but needs work

The bed was completely sloped (like your laying on a hill), the bathroom was super outdated and moldy, the porch didn’t have a table and was chipping away. The view was spectacular, the location great, beach awesome, pool ok, hot tub didn’t work! Just would expect a little better for one of the highest priced 1 bedrooms on the island.
