Romantic unique getaway in a cozy log trappers cabin that's relaxing and peaceful. Detach from the hustle of life and enjoy lake Cocolalla. Nestled in Cocolalla, which is ideal for fishing, swimming, kayaking and all water sports or gentle relaxation. We also have private lake access, chairs are provided to enjoy the dock and watch the sunrises/sunsets.
Chances are good that you will see wild turkey's and whitetail deer on the property and maybe my chickens.
Included: Outdoor fire pit & propane BBQ grill. log Fireplace, WIFI, air conditioner, Alexa, Keurig coffee maker and coffee, puzzles, games, books.
In the winter months Ice fishing, snow shoeing, skiing, snow boarding. Please be advised in the winter months 4-wheel drive vehicles will be advised for this destination, although the property is plowed when necessary
This property may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns due to the ladder like stairs.
Ten minutes away from Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille, 35 Minutes away from Schweitzer Mountain resort, 15 minutes from Sliverwood theme park.

Nothing short of magical! The cabin is cozy and serene. The surrounding scenery is like a story book, I didn't want to leave. The hosts are attentive and just lovely people.

Romantic Getaway

Beautiful place to stay the night after skiing Schweitzer and a fantastic backdrop to my proposal to my now fiancé on the mountain! Excellent theme, clean, everything we could have wanted. We loved the flower petals layed out on the bed and all the games provided. Thank you for a great stay!

Adorable cabin in the woods

This little cabin was absolutely charming!! What a special little cabin, tucked into the trees. The cabin was spotless, and stocked with what we needed. Owners were sweet and helpful.

Relaxing

We came for a relaxing time and it did not disappoint. We had a family of deer sleeping under the trees in front of the cabin. It was nice and quiet. The fire was so cozy. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Hi, I'm originally from England and immigrated some 20 years ago, I have always lived in destination locations and have always been a host to all my friends and family, it only seems natural to extend that to the community.

I have always had an attraction to log cabins, they seem so unique and romantic in the snow with a log open fire, a great bottle of wine and your partner. So I set out to build the trappers cabin.
