Lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect space for two couples. The beds were comfortable, and having two bathrooms was nice. There are some stairs to get to the place, but that was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean and spacious!

This condo was super clean and updated! It had plenty of space for our family of 4. Bathrooms/Bedrooms were very clean as well. The only negatives were no golf carts on property for renters, the porch was super dirty and the bed in the master was super uncomfortable. I wish they would have blown off the porch so we could have enjoyed it. Other than that it was a gem! I would stay again for a short weekend trip!

We're sorry to hear that you found the porch in less than favorable condition. We do blow/sweep those areas prior to arrival which can be quickly undone by a storm or debris from a neighboring unit. Should you encounter this during a future stay, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office, and we will be happy to promptly address. Unfortunately, the golf cart rule is mandated by the POA so unlikely that will change. We would love to be your host on Edisto during any season. We are always a phone call away! Convenient, safe, management could be better

I usually do not leave reviews but in this case I have to do something to help the owners get some feedback about management. There were 5 dead cockroaches in plain view upon coming in for late arrival. Only one came in a died the whole rest of the trip. They probably cleaned place the Monday prior and hasn't been back to check on things. Back deck cushions were left out and dirty. 1 roll of toilet paper for whole stay. Otherwise, pretty nice place and convenient and would stay again. Please, management, stop by and clean up roaches shortly before check-in.

Brian, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay was anything short of enjoyable. Our property care staff performs a pre-arrival check on properties that have been sitting for more than 24 hours since the last cleaning. We certainly apologize that you encountered any items that made you feel as if the property was not checked prior to your arrival. The buildings in the resort where you stayed are treated on a quarterly basis per the HOAs scheduling and instruction. After these treatments there will be an increase in pest activity especially in areas surrounded by thick foliage namely palmetto trees in which the "palmetto" bugs to which you referred to live. We are disappointed that there were any surprises regarding what is provided with the rental. We include the contents of the complementary welcome bag along with a list of what to bring in the pre-arrival reminder in hopes to avoid any surprises. Proceed with caution, not a first floor unit as listed

Unfortunately, the title of this listing included being a first floor — incredibly false. Two fights of stairs, about 16 total. When I called prior to inquire, the property manager was quite rude saying “well no, it’s the first floor unit of two story condo units” — thus, my mom had to get a hotel an hour away each way for the two nights due to false advertising. I warned them they need to update the listing as no other listing in that building dares to say first floor. In no way is this a first floor unit. Also, having to make your own beds upon arrival seems a little extreme to me — also be warned that the AC unit won’t be set when you arrive, took about 8-10 hours to cool down, no patio cushions for use and porch hadn’t been swept in months it appears.

Whitney, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at our vacation rental. We sincerely regret that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Our property is described as being on the first floor, and while we understand your comment regarding the elevated foundation, we would like to clarify that the first floor typically refers to the floor above ground level. We apologize if there was any confusion or misunderstanding about this. We are disappointed to hear that making the beds upon your arrival was surprising. These details as well as a reminder list of what is supplied/what to bring is included in the rental confirmation email as well as the pre arrival information sent 7 days prior to arrival. The porch furniture cushions (as pictured in the lisitng) are stored on the porch in a bin, that is labeled accordingly, to protect the cushions from the elements. We are happy to advise on the location of these types of items when guests aren't able to locate them. During the peak of the summer, the A/C thermostats are set to 75 degrees upon arrival. July 2023 was one of the hottest on record for our area so we have been advised by the HVAC company that this setting will provide for proper cooling and function during extreme heat and humidity. We value your feedback and take these matters very seriously. We are committed to improving our service and ensuring that our property details are accurate and up-to-date.
