The home is charming and pet-friendly with a wonderful backyard. It was stocked with all the basics we needed for our stay. The kitchen and the large picture windows overlooking the backyard were probably my favorite. The overall comfort of the home is why we always book a home and not a hotel room on our travels.

This was a great experience! I visited for my engagement party weekend and truly enjoyed staying here! The space was amazing and close to everything near by. The neighborhood felt very safe!

Wonderful place to stay with pets. Great fenced backyard. Great location . Nice neighborhood. Easy walk to Avondale Brewery for concert. Host had great communication. Good notes for using items around the house and for checking out.

Unfortunately this property is not as pictured. Sofa is stained, bathroom very dirty, smells like moth balls. We arrived and had to leave to go get a hotel. We had not received check in instructions, so the homeowner texted it after a few attempts at communication.

I had the most peaceful night of sleep. The neighborhood felt safe, warm, and inviting. I loved the back yard, and the picture window at the dining table. The home was equipped with all appliances that I needed, and then some. The provided coffee was perfect to start off my morning. Thank you for everything!

We enjoyed our stay so much that when we come back to Birmingham we’ll try our best to book this house again! There were no issues whatsoever that we needed to contact the hosts about. The fence was secure, and we felt safe letting our dogs explore the backyard as much as they wanted. The neighborhood was adorable and very walkable. It was everything we needed. Location was great. We felt safe the entire time. I couldn’t say enough positive things about this home. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect for a family with 1 toddler and a dog

We stayed overnight as a midway stop to our final destination and it was perfect. Plenty of room in the backyard for our dog to roam around. A crib and a few toys that our toddler enjoyed. Clean house with necessities provided (trash bags, towels, laundry detergent, etc). Quiet neighborhood. Small issue getting into the house at first but I don’t know if that was user error or a technical issue. They were quick to respond to this issue. We’d stay here again.

Cute house/Decent stay

House is in a great location and quaint. It served our purpose of being in town for a week for a baseball tournament. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of some things in the house. For example, the kitchen left things to be desired: coffee maker was filthy and had a dirty filter left in it, a baking sheet had food baked on it and had not been cleaned, and the previous guests’ linens were left in the dryer for me to deal with as most items had not been restocked in the bathroom (towels, toilet paper). Overall, our stay was good, though, and the host was very responsive.

Cute house!

Stayed here while attending a wedding in town. The house was cute, clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is adorable. Loved walking the sidewalks and exploring. Very quick responses from our hosts- thank you!

UAB Visit

We came to Birmingham for a hospital visit at UAB. The home was perfect, quiet, and just enough space for 4 adults and 1 infant. There were no pot holders for taking things out of the oven and there was a used washcloth handing on the shower from the previous guest, but it was overall a great stay. Definitely would consider this home again if it’s available!

Cute, Affordable Spot in Birmingham

We had a nice stay at Britt and George's place. The rate was very affordable. The house is a cute 1950s bungalow with 3 beds and 1 bathroom. We traveled with 2 kids and the space worked perfectly for us. There was a crib which we utilized along with multiple toys for our kids. The fenced in backyard which was great for our kids to run around. The neighborhood was very quiet at night. We had a snafu with checkin which was quickly remedied. Hosts are much quicker to respond over text rather than app. Thanks for a great stay!

Family trip

Overall we had a relaxing and pleasant experience in their quaint home. We are traveling with two infants and this property has toys, cribs, a pack and play and other essentials. Will stay again

Adorable and Cozy Home

my wife and I stayed here for a night when we were on a long trip and needed a break. The overall house was very nice and very warm. Spacious with three bedrooms and a huge yard for dogs to run if you’re traveling with Dogs. Would return for sure. The people were also very nice that owned it and we’re very in communication with us the whole time. Overall would return five stars.

Avondale bungalow

The check-in was easy and the outdoor area in the back was beautiful! We loved having the grill to cook on and tables in the fenced back yard to hang out at! Also, having the crib was very convenient! Unfortunately, the lack of overall cleanliness of the house was disappointing. We reached out to the host and she apologized and was kind to offer to refund the cleaning fee. There are several things related to general house maintenance that we also mentioned to the host.
