The location was excellent and there were some useful amenities, but several issues affected our stay.The apartment was not clean on arrival, with hair throughout the unit and visible hair on pillows, blankets, and the couch. Bedding for the extra bed was also missing and was not provided until the next day. After we reported the cleanliness concerns, a cleaner was sent the following day, which we appreciated, but it was not communicated in advance, so it impacted our schedule.Although we had confirmed our late arrival in advance, we were not provided with all necessary access details beforehand, such as the apartment address and access instructions. When I reached out on arrival to request the information, I was told I needed to submit a deposit in order to receive it. This was noted in the reservation confirmation but never discussed otherwise. After a long day of travel, we found ourselves standing on a street corner with our luggage, trying to complete a form, which could have been sent when I confirmed the late arrival.The apartment was also quite noisy, and the walls were thin. The kitchen, dining area, part of the living room, and downstairs bathroom consistently smelled of cigarette smoke.On the positive side, the location was safe and convenient, directly across from public transportation and close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The three bathrooms were helpful for a larger group, luggage storage was convenient, the staff were friendly at check out.
