This beautiful end unit sits on a pond that is full of wildlife, especially in spring when the Ibis birds gather at the water's edge. Relax outside and watch the amazing sunsets.

The place was clean and very nicely appointed. The parking is very tight. It is the last building in the property and you are not allowed access to the garage

Nice place

The unit was clean. Was well stocked with everything needed. The beds were comfortable. The outside including the pond was a bit rustic but we knew we weren’t going to spend much time outdoors at the unit. I’m a walker so the walk to access downtown and the waterfront was fine for me but may be a challenge for some. A very short drive though. The living area had a sofa and upholstered chair, both well used but comfortable. Was difficult to tell if the sofa slipcover needed laundering or was just older. Could use another comfy chair in the event someone wanted to stretch out on the sofa. It was great that we could take our dogs. The property manager was very responsive. All in all a good experience! Loved Southport!

Excellent location and wonderful stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful time for our extended weekend getaway in Southport. The property owners were wonderful and the accommodation was EXCELLENT! We will DEFINITELY be back! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Month long stay

This property was perfect for our month long stay in Southport. It's location was ideal for walking downtown to the quaint shops and restaurants or just relaxing on the back patio overlooking the pond. The duplex had a full kitchen and outdoor gas grill to use when we wanted to stay in and cook. Shelly and Steve, the property managers, were easy to contact and always made sure we had everything we needed. Should we return to Southport, we would.definitely stay here again.

Great location

This is one of our rentals. Steve(owner) met us at the rental and explained everything to us about the rental and the local area. This rental is in a duplex right on a pond that was relaxing to sit out on patio and watch the ducks carry on. Unusual looking ducks with a white spot on side of head.. Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Bed was very comfortable. Steve told us all about Southport and the local area. we really enjoyed Southport, it is definitely worth spending a few days exploring all the shops and restaurants. A beautiful waterfront park and pier. On our next visit we will rent from Steve again.

Directions were perfect. It was hot and the lovely A/C was running! The duplex was just lovely! So comfortable, clean and well equipped. Location was perfect, close to everything.

Great Location for Walking SouthPort

Great new location. Roomy and clean all on one level. Easy walk to Provision Company and the Waterfront. Quiet and Comfortable!

Steve and Shelly moved from CT to live in the wonderful community of Southport, a place that captures many people's hearts. This quaint seaside village was once named "The Happiest Seaside Town in the US". We love the restaurants and entertainment of Southport and the beaches and concerts in Oak Island. Both places are special in their own ways. We hope you enjoy it here as much as we do.

We created this property around the pond because it is such a lively spot. The Ibis birds flock here in the springtime to get fresh water to feed their babies who live on the island in the Cape Fear River. There are many other birds and wildlife. At sunset, the sun displays its glorious colors across the pond. It's peaceful to watch and the neighborhood is full of wonderful people.

From Ibis Landing, guests can walk to town or rent a golf cart to get out and explore. The marina is around the corner as well as the waterfront and shops. Guests staying at Ibis Landing are welcome to use the facilities at our beach property on Oak Island called The Pelican Landing Villas. There you will find a saltwater pool and a beach access across the street. Ask us for the details or look at the website for more information.
