Beautifully furnished home right off of St. Charles! Walk to the many shops, galleries, restaurants and bars that Uptown has to offer. This cozy 1 bedroom bears an open feel while also offering a great deal of privacy and functionality. Located near the campuses of Tulane and Loyola in the East Carrollton, this neighborhood offers a rich cultural experience of architecture, dining, local art & shopping, pubs and bars.

Neighborhood Description:
Right on the edge of East Carrollton, this small uptown neighborhood is deeply rooted in New Orleans history and culture. Enjoy walking through this beautiful neighborhood to catch your favorite Mardi Gras parade, take a stroll through Tulane and Loyola's historic campuses, have a picnic in Audubon Park, or explore the local restaurants, bars, shops, and cafe's - Bruno's Tavern, Chais Delachaise, Satsuma Cafe, and Vincent's Italian Cuisine are all right outside your door just to name a few!

Getting around:
Walk, ride a bike, or take the St. Charles street car located 1 and a half blocks away! Uber and Lyft services are also typically available in this area.

Great neighborhood stay!

Perfect Uptown location! Great restaurants and coffee shops nearby, easy access to the street car on St Charles and very close to Tulane.

Accommodating

We got lucky to be in New Orleans during the January 2025 snowstorm, which caused our flight to be canceled. This cozy 1-bedroom rental was just perfect for our extended stay. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to stay an extra night with so much empathy and offering assistance whenever we needed it. The parking was easy and convenient, and the location had a couple of bars right next door. Despite that, we didn’t hear any noise, which made for a very comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location very clean

The property is in a perfect location and is walking distance to the St Charles streetcar along with many restaurants and coffee shops! It is exactly as described. The host was very helpful and responded very quickly! Would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

Great location! Perfect cozy 1 bedroom condo just 1 mile from Tulane in Uptown area of New Orleans. It is also just 1.5 blocks back from St. Charles Avenue. Everything is within walking distance including bars and restaurants on Maple Street. WiFi worked well too so I was able to also work Some each day. Owners live on the property so available if needing anything. Kitchen is complete. Shower has fantastic water pressure! We felt very safe and secure there as well as very comfortable too! We will return!

Wonderful place!

We SO enjoyed staying here! The location was ideal for easy walking distance to Tulane's campus, the streetcar, and terrific restaurants, bars, and shops. The place was super clean and the washer and dryer were a wonderful add-on for us to pack to go home with clean clothes.

Perfect Location and Communication

This place is perfect for a couple who want to experience NOLA in a way that is much more peaceful than the experience you may have in the French Quarter. You will be close to many fabulous restaurants and local bars, and you'll be within walking distance of the St. Charles Streetcar line that is a convenient way to get downtown or to the Garden District. All of this is complemented nicely with an owner/manager team that are quick to respond and are, honestly, the best manager/owner team I have ever rented from on any short-term rental platform. We will be back to rent this property when we return to The Big Easy. Laissez le bon temps rouler.

Peaceful Property, Fantastic Location

This is a cute, comfortable property. The yard is well-maintained and fenced. Parking was easy. The location is fantastic, within a short distance of the St. Charles Streetcar line, and not far from Tulane and Loyola Universities and Audubon Park. The bed and furniture were comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. We had some communications hiccups with the manager, but overall really enjoyed our stay.

Location was key to the rating of this place! And the basset hound next door.

It was great! Could use a little TLC and updated furnishings but safe location compensated for that.

Great place to stay

This is at the top of my many vacation rentals. The apt. is spacious and very well equipped. The neighborhood is quiet AND safe!! The owners live on the property and easily accessible but not intrusive. There are several coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance Kudos for this one!

Efficient charm

We were pleased with this property. Had everything we needed. Convenient for a lot of places; food, drinks, ice cream, a walk to Audubon park. Parking was on-street but not an issue. Would rent again.

Cool spot outside of downtown

Really enjoyed the neighborhood away from the middle of NOLA. Lots of cool little restaurants and bars within 1 minute of walking. Very cool owners and they were very friendly and offered up great suggestions for eating and grabbing drinks. Would stay here again for sure!
