Vineyard Haven Getaway

The property was very quaint & clean. It had most of the amenities that we’re used to. The property was in Vineyard Haven not right in the middle of everything. Getting to the unit was somewhat difficult but we eventually found it. The parking space was a little tricky to get into. You can hear the unit on top of you when the occupants move around. The host was really great answering all our questions and even treated us to a breakfast on our anniversary. We would stay here again.

Film festival

It was great! The property was just as advertised. Amenities are close, everything was clean and set up was very cozy and comfortable. I would stay again.

Hard to beat!

The location was perfect, a 5 min walk to Main Street VH. The kitchen was well-equipped and all the amenities one would need were provided. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. I would love to stay here again!

Little things equal big things…

I enjoyed the stay because I really like MV but the condo was just okay… Cons: 1. The condo is on the lower level. I heard noise just about every time the people upstairs dragged a chair across the floor, dropped something, used the shower, ran/walked heavily, etc. As someone not used to sharing walls, the noises were extremely disturbing. 2. Lack of basic supplies: Stayed for a week. had to buy some large plastic bags, so I could store the trash. Did not know where to put the trash so a week’s worth of trash stayed in the condo. Also had to buy more toilet tissue. 3. Shower water turned lukewarm when the condo above took a shower at the same time. Learned to time my shower around theirs so I could have hot water. 4. Bed was entirely too soft. 5. Could not use the TV in the bedroom. It turned on but could not watch any channels. Not sure if the batteries did not work or some other issue… Pros: 1. strong Wi-Fi signal 2. communal pool to use 3. walking distance to shops in town 4. cleanliness of unit 5. host left a bottle of sangria and snacks - nice touch
