Escape to a truly unique retreat – a hexagonal house nestled on a private lot with an exclusive 50 feet of direct frontage on East Grand Traverse Bay. Welcome to East Bay Escape, where the stunning beach frontage is the crowning jewel of this extraordinary property.

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty as the main kitchen, dining, and living room offer a mesmerizing 180-degree view of the bay. Upstairs, three bedrooms, each adorned with queen beds, and two full baths provide comfort and luxury. Downstairs, a cozy bedroom with a queen bed and a spacious room featuring 3 bunk beds offer sleeping arrangements for up to 8. In total, the house can accommodate a group of 16 people, making it an ideal spot for gatherings and making memories.

As of March 1, 2022, the house has undergone a complete 100% renovation, ensuring a modern, stylish, and comfortable escape. Discover the perfect blend of serenity and sophistication at this enchanting hexagonal haven on the shores of East Grand Traverse Bay.

Perfect sized vacation home in an ideal location right on the beach! Plenty of beds and amenities included at the home and only a short drive to downtown traverse city or various resorts in the area. Communication and check in was a breeze and would definitely stay again

We value cleanliness, comfort, customer service, and the amenities that make it a stress-free pleasure to stay in a VRBO home. This checked all of those boxes. But the extras made it special: The remarkable architecture, the gas fireplace, the view of the bay, the complementary local hard apple cider, and having someone plow and shovel before we woke up each day.

We had such a wonderful stay! The location and home were absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The beds were so comfortable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts thought of everything, from having two types of coffee makers to beach toys and even an extra pack and play and high chair for the little ones. Every detail was carefully considered, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!

Great beach house for family fun

Great location right on the water and short distance to downtown Traverse City. Property has lots of space and beds for family gatherings like ours. Property management was responsive to our few requests and questions upon arrival.

Great House for a Group

We stayed here for a long weekend with a large group. The bunk room in the basement fit a lot of people! The house was very comfortable and there was a ton of parking. The views were stunning, we just wish we would have had warmer weather to enjoy it

We loved having 4 days on a beautiful beach with the whole family … grandparents, children, and grandchildren. That part of the experience was 5 stars, but my issues with the unit would have been 3, which I will address with the host.

Such a wonderful house!

This house is right on the beach, has a great view, and it absolutely perfect for a larger group! Everything was extremely clean, and easy to find. The house had all the little things we forgot, and was great for all 9 of us! We will definitely be coming back!

Location unmatched!

This rental was perfect for our girls trip! We had a large group and it still felt really spacious. But the real draw was the location. It was so wonderful to just walk out onto the sand and have a private beach! It was also close to downtown which made everything really accessible. All in all would love to come back!

Great choice for Traverse City

The property was as advertised. Very cool layout with a great view of the bay. Even though we had a rough start(heat was out for a period) the owner quickly responded. Great girls getaway

We rented for a quick girls getaway up north. The inside of the house was perfect for 10 woman. We loved having the open concept to cook, watch movies and all still be in the same room. Communication with the rental agency was great, when we needed something they were definitely on top of it. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location

This is a beautiful home and we had the best time. Plenty of room and nice and clean. Only down fall on the trip was that when we booked this the listing showed as the house being more in the downtown area and the house is actually a 5-7 minute drive to downtown. Other than that great place to stay.

Amazing!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this property! It is so nice to have beachfront access and all of the rooms and spaces in the house were super appealing and clean and enjoyable! A great place to bring your friends or family as there is lots of space to spread out and lots of sleeping areas. We had so much fun and really enjoyed all of the amenities! It is on a busy street, but it is tucked away down the driveway, so it is perfect! Five stars!

In Town for a Funeral

Family needed a place near Traverse City where 6 adults and 3 children could stay comfortably. This house fit the bill. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, and a great view of the bay. Property manager was responsive and took care of some icy steps right away. The baby gate, high chair, stroller, and pack’n’play were a big help

Amazing property

This property is in the heart of it all on the bay. You basically have your own private beach . Walking distance to restaurants, put put and grocery store. Perfect for an extended family get together with a room of bunks for all the children . I was hesitant to even review this because I want to stay here again and gate keep this awesome place to myself . Ten stars!

Awesome location in TC

We had a wonderful stay at East Bay Escape. Overall rating is a 5, but I rated the cleanliness as a 4 due to a pretty grimey shower curtain. Communication with the rental company was very easy and Troy was quick to respond. (Of note, he said housekeeping would take care of the shower curtain). The views and location are outstanding. This makes for a perfect getaway with friends/family in the Traverse City area.

Great Trip to Traverse City!

We just got back from a long weekend in Traverse City. The house was great all around. Great location, great setup, and plenty of room for our group of 9, as we could have fit more. We requested an early check-in, and the hosts were very accommodating to our request. We did not need anything additional from them on the rest of the trip, but they reached out to make sure that everything was going well, so we would have felt comfortable letting them know if there was anything that we did need! Would rent this location again for a future trip!
