We stayed for a week during peak season and this place was all we could hope for. Multi family trip with plenty of room for kids, parents, and grandparents. Comfortable sleeping arrangements with ample storage. Wonderful outdoor spaces with different zones. Well-equipped kitchen, dining room, and basement hang-out space plus an extra full size fridge (big deal for multiple families and lots of groceries!). The waterfront location is perfect. Sunrise views, ample lawn space, sandy beach, cozy Adirondack seating around a fire pit, great dock, and kayaks and SUPs to paddle on the beautiful clear Grand Traverse Bay. Perfect location gets you 30 minutes or less anywhere in Leelanau County, 10 minutes to Traverse City. Hoping we can come back again soon!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this midcentury modern. We were there for four nights on a girls trip. The house allowed everyone their own room and plenty of showers to go around. We were fortunate that the weather was great for mid May and enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. It was early and the dock was not yet in the water. The kitchen had everything we needed for the light cooking we did. The location was great for exploring north or south to Traverse City. Plenty of games to entertain us on our one rainy day.

The property is very spacious and has everything you could ask for. The check in was easy. The photos in the listing are beautiful. The actual house is a bit more worn than the photos show, but probably most properties in this area are. The worst thing for us is the road noise from M22, which is not the host's fault at all, but just be aware that if you are looking for tranquil and quiet along the shore, there probably is no such thing in this area. There were a few small problems at the house, like a toilet that needs to be replaced, kayak paddles for only 2, but seats for 4, ice maker that only gives a few cubes, but the host was responsive to other issues in a very timely manner. We loved this house and it really is the best appointed house we've ever been in. I hope guests keep taking care of it so everyone can enjoy!

Great lodging and location for our annual extended family retreat. Took advantage of the lake , traverse City, Sutton’s Bay, Leelanau peninsula wineries, sand dunes and much more!

Great trip

We stayed with a few families - this is such a fun, family friendly place. Lots to do nearby, or just stay and play on the beach/in the water all day. Hosts were wonderful and helpful throughout the stay!

We are also the proud operators of Ride Leelanau, the premier e-bike rental service in the county.
