Single home with backyard and driveway in quiet area. Down the street from the bay and other amenities in the villas like food, shops, etc. Only 18 minutes to beach and City of Cape May. Great for families. You can bike to local ice cream shop and local park. Near great fishing lake. We allow up to Two small dogs for which an additional fee will be charged and we ask that they sleep in their own beds. We DO NOT allow cats or any other animals. Towels and sheets are not provided, but options are available upon request. Six beach tags are provided with stay. New pull out leather couch!

Comfortable & adequate for overnight stay.

We only stayed one night, but noted fine location, very well appointed house and described accurately in listing. Did however notice cat urine smell in house.

Cute place!

We had our family and my brother's family for a 4 day getaway to Cape May and we were very happy with this house! Very clean and great communication from the owner. Highly recommend!

Great shore getaway

Spent a weekend with 2 friends in this comfy shore home. Less than 10 min drive to bay beach & nice restaurants. Very accommodating host.

Great!

Very nice rental; great house;nicely equipped! Lots of room for my daughter, two grandkids, and me. Two wonderful days at the beach (thanks for the use of the beach tags...great touch!) , and quiet neighborhood to relax in the evening! Wonderful!

Short stay but worth it

We only stayed at this property for two nights but it was well worth it. Close enough to Cape May (15 minutes) and still far enough for quiet evenings on the porch. Enjoyed our short stay there.

Clean and in great location

If you don't mind bringing your own sheets and towels, I very much recommend this house. We stayed here to celebrate a family member's 60th birthday and it was in the perfect location and accommodated our whole party quite well, including one of the member's little dog. Would stay here again if planning a visit to Cape May.

Quick overnight stay!

Lovely, clean and welcoming home! Our stay was only one night. Would have loved to stay longer! Would def rent again. Only issue was a surprise upcharge for mandatory insurance at VRBO checkout.

Brief stay near Cape May

The home is lovely. Good neighborhood... near lots of convenience stores. Small area 90% fenced in perfect for taking out a small dog. The mattresses in 2/3 bedrooms need to be updated as they are particularly uncomfortable and squeak with every move. Other than that, this is a roomy, extremely clean and cozy home for staying 20 minutes out of Cape May.

Immaculate and Welcoming

Being a group of avid "Birders", we chose this charming place because it is ideally located within the world famous Cape May Birding Habitats and locations, i.e., a base of operations. We found it to be immaculately clean with all bathrooms, showers, sinks, ovens, stoves, etc in perfect working order. We had all the cooking and eating utensils we needed and basically wanted for nothing. Should we return to the Cape May area we would definitly try to book this charming place again .

Nice location

My family and i stayed for the first time off island. This rental was beautiful. The owners allowed usbto bring our pets which was very nice of them. The house was beautiful all around. The scarafice to being close to the beach is worth it. We were 20 min to the wildwood beach and boardwalk. Only 5 min to the bay which we took more advantage of. Restaurant and activities were same as if we were to be on the island. The house had everything we needed to be there. Besides sheet and towels which we brought. I highly recommend this rental

Wouldn’t rent again

This house was visibly clean but had a terrible musty smell all throughout it. Also, for all the fees we paid, it was disappointing to not even be left with a single trash bag. Having to bring your own sheets and towels was also a bit annoying. Close proximity to very thing you would want to do, but didn’t wow us.

Very disapointed

The house is nice but when we entered it, we got hit by a strong smell, a mix of cat's urine and chimicals used to hid it. The floor was so sticky that I had to wash it all and the fridge didn't work properly. We figured out that the smell was caused by the air conditioning system and it was a very warm week. We got a 100$ refund but asked for more. I know the host is mad at us for asking a bigger refund but we did troubleshoot the house and our stay was very uncomfortable. This is what we wrote to her, to ask for a refund. She think we should have leave rightaway and ask for a refund but after an 8 hours drive we were too tired and were hoping for a solution that didn't come. Hello Jaclyn, Like I was saying before, we are very disappointed. When we got here after an 8 hours drive, if it wouldn’t have been prepaid, we would have turn around as soon as we were hit by the smell when we stepped into the house. We acknowledge that you take care of your house and it shows a lot inside and outside. We were just not lucky, maybe? First, the air conditioning that accentuate the odor is a big deal. The nights are very hot but sleeping with the AC on is not an option because of the smell. Secondly, the floors were so sticky when we got in that I had to wash it all. And finally, it is not just the freezer. The whole fridge is not cold enough. We lost food and it was a real hassle to manage our meals and picnics for the beach without being able to have ice packs. The most annoying thing is the smell. Since we can’t let the windows open when we leave, we have to start the AC and every time we come back, we are discussed by the smell. Considering all those inconveniences, your offer to refund the food we lost is insufficient. We consider that a few days refund is reasonable. We understand that you tried to help but our vacations were ruined by it. Respectfully, Daniel and Josée
