Dramatic 19th floor two-story great room with floor to ceiling windows will captivate as you walk in the door. Each of the 3 bedrooms offer ocean view along with ocean front balconies. Take the stairs to a heavenly spacious primary bedroom suite with king size bed and spa inspired bathroom on the second floor. Main floor bedrooms with en-suites consist of queen bed in second bedroom and 2 queen beds in the third bedroom. Beautiful full kitchen and dining area with queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

Terrible amenities

Room was in good condition when we arrived. Trying to sleep at night was very difficult. Old furnace made loud banging noise throughout the night. Toilets made loud sounds as well, keeping me up most of the night. It was so difficult to get a good night sleep, we decided to leave and forego our last night to stay at a different place. When I messaged the host and asked if he would refund our last night, I was told that’s not part of their policy but they will look into it. I’ve heard nothing back after sending a message. I would not stay at the place if you want to get a good night sleep while on vacation. So disappointed.

Not impressed

Sadly the negatives outweighed the positives about this unit/resort. Master bathroom had what appeared to be black mold on the tile. The shower is inside the jacuzzi tub that is on a platform. A half-width shower curtain doesn’t contain water from spraying onto the tile floor which became slippery and was hard to step out of. The faucet had to be positioned just right to get “hot” water. The living area wooden floor was not in the best shape and the furniture and decor are dated. The oceanfront balcony is off a guest bedroom so it limited when and who could sit on it. The guest bathroom fan didn’t work. The elevators needed repaired the first 2 days, so there were 20-30 minute wait times. While we were there, the AC stopped working, there was a fire alarm so we had to walk down 19 flights of stairs, and the front lobby also flooded. Also, the dryer in the unit did not dry the clothes at all. Finally, although the pool area is nice, people save chairs early (even though they are left empty with a towel for hours), so there is no where to sit. The booking and communication was decent, maintenance fixed the AC timely. Daytona Beach is so-so. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and wouldn’t return. I don’t often leave reviews, but this info would’ve been helpful prior to booking.

We loved staying here, it was easy to check in and we were within walking distance of our venues. parking was easy. We highly recommend this place and grateful for the owner to allow us to stay here.

Disappointment

The unit we stayed in is really weathered. I’m surprised at the price we paid lights that didn’t work master bedroom sink hot water didn’t work front guess bathroom sink water shut out when we turn it on so the closet doors are all falling off. I believe there’s one kitchen towel and one pot holder. Definitely not a well supplied kitchen for family to cook. The air conditioning in the second floor quit three or four times. Just really disappointing at the price I paid for the quality of the unit. Definitely needs good cleaning an upgraded. As far as the amenities, we enjoyed the beach, the pool, concert, next-door and a couple nights. We went out to eat restaurants nearby.

Perfect Home Stay

Hands down this was such a perfect rental and location and f you are looking to relax on the beach or relax by the many pools and hot tubs! Great location. property was super clean and perfect for our family/ Host of property was excellent at accommodating all of our needs. Definitely recommend this property and I hope to visit again soon! Definitely give this 5 stars it was just perfect!

Mixed Emotions would not stay here again

On the positive side: the condo was large and a great location. It is dated but comfortable. Management was easy to reach and very responsive. The owner was also easy to reach but not very helpful and did not offer compensation for lack of hot water and no AC. On the negative side: NO AC on the second level upon arrival Maintenance came up. Fixed it but the filter looks like it has NEVER been changed! Request made, never done. Intermittent AC up there all week. Main bedroom is up there. The entire unit has an. Unpleasant order. Vents were wet, most likely moldy’ Carpeting in front bedroom and main bedroom are very stained and old. Dryer only works on timed dry and takes forever. Lots of lights not working only a few were attended to while we were there. Main shower is IN the jacuzzi tub which is elevated on slick tile. Im sure this is against code. FALL HAZZARD! Hot water only works if you turn the faucet on slightly from off. But no one told us ahead of time. All TV’s were disconnected upon arrival. Maintenance fixed it though. Two plumbers showed up unannounced at 10:45pm and worked until 12:30am. This unit had no plumbing issues it was a building problem. Why 10:45PM/ I was terrified to open the door. Large window shown in photo is extremely dirty with bird excrement and sea mist. Probably never cleaned in 15 years. Oddly the smallest bedroom is the ocean front room. We will not return to this property.

Great location and most food and activities in walking distance. Good experience except using shower head in upstairs bathroom only has cold water. Had to take a bath all week. Maintenance was very helpful and said they will have to fix after we leave. Overall nice layout and great location!

Great place for a larg family.

This is a great self contained condo to accommodate our large family. The facility gave the perfect balance of amenities and beach access. Something for everyone. The owners were very responsive and the condo was well equipped. We are very happy with our stay. A great experience overall!

Just okay

It was nice for a beachfront condo, about what you expect from Daytona. But for the money paid, It’s not any nicer than the other rooms in the building. I know it’s not in the owners control but the security guards were way too much at the pool (literally causing fights amongst guests). A lot was broken inside our unit and there was hardly any cleaning supplies. Beds were pretty uncomfortable. Beach was amazing though. Nice appliances.

Hot water issues and burning clothes

We had no hot water in the main bathroom shower. We called to try to get it fixed and they said we had to call owners. The dryer burning some of our clothes, so we stopped using it afraid it might start a fire.

Ocean walk review

The place had a wonderful view, very nice and roomy condo. Kid friendly resort . The only problem was with the water , no cold water in part of the condo also very low water pressure, so was some what of an inconvenience.

Great View, Horrible Beds

Pros: Great View, Wonderful property with nice pools and particularly friendly for children. Very easy beach access as well as surrounding shops and restaurants. Condo itself is roomy. Parking garage makes it easy to come and go. Cons: Beds are Horrible, especially the one upstairs. No personal touches that would indicate that the owner occupied this unit, and certainly never slept on the bed upstairs. I have slept on a better beds in cheap motels. Furnishings are quite dated. Pictures of the unit must be from the beginning, years earlier as the wear is quite evident. The toaster was broken and they replaced it. The router on the internet failed and they did not fix it. The garbage disposal never worked. If you are driving and decide on this unit, bring your own memory foam bed topper, at least then you may get a good nights sleep.

It is a beautiful view and great set up. I love how all of the rooms are spaced and have their own bathrooms. The downfall is that none of the balcony doors locked and there was no hot water for showers/ baths. Overall we would love to stay here in this room again and for a longer duration.

GREAT LOCATION, Cool & Unique Place

Overall, this place was really neat, and the location was amazing. Loved the views, the multiple pools, the proximity to the beach, the decor, the vibe, and the fun entertainment provided at night. The owners of the VRBO rental (John) were awesome and great to communicate with (he is on it when it comes to anything you need). I do think there are some things that need to be updated, such as: - the showers (in the front room and the master bedroom) need to be fixed and have warm water. Overall, both of those bathrooms need updated fixtures and the water pressure and water heater to be fixed or updated -Kitchen: one of the burners on the stove did not work and the dishwasher did not work very well or if at all, and the toaster was broken -Bedrooms: The beds were all a bit hard and very difficult to sleep on. - Laundry Room: The washing machine stunk of moldy water, when turning the drum by hand prior to washing anything stale water came out, and had to do two rinse cycles before we could wash any clothes. -The dryer lint holder needs to be cleared out before new renters arrive -For check-in, I would've loved a handout or been told about what was happening at the location…… like music guests, shows, and just when things were happening so we could be a part of things, and this isn't the owner's fault (the check-in people need to get a little more organized and enthusiastic when greeting new people). -Also, the front desk crew needs to treat the guest with a little more respect. We ran into an issue where the front desk called and accused us of throwing stuff off of our balcony which NEVER and would never happen, and though they couldn't tell us what was thrown and when, they still accused us of something we didn't do and would never ever do (these were older women & Grandmothers staying in the rooms and would NOT do this), and so, they still gave us a warning and were super rude and awful about it (this is also separate of the condo's owners). The front desk crew just sucked and acted like they didn't want to be there and never knew anything about anything. These are minor issues, however real, and did bother us a little, but the great location, unique, fun vibe inside, and the awesome owners made it all worth it.

Wonderful Experience

My family and I loved our stay with you all. The unit was perfect in so many ways - great storage space, amazing views, comfortable beds and the amenities were awesome. The kiddie pool area and the lazy river was where we had the most fun. We would definitely come back here to stay. Thanks for being such great hosts!
