We’ve stayed at many properties at Folly Beach, but this will be our new annual destination! It was immaculately clean and we loved the unobstructed view of the ocean. You couldn’t get any closer to the beach

Great week in Folly!

We absolutely loved this beautiful house on the beach. The views were amazing! House was in a great location and very clean. We booked for next year already because we had such a great stay! Would 100% recommend this house if you plan on going to Folly.

Accuracy of online listing doesn’t do this beach house justice.

This is a wonderful house. Better than the listing. A great living room kitchen area with wall to ceiling oceanfront windows a great big deck with hot water outdoor shower Host was great too.

Beach Retreat

Our family had a wonderful time at Making Waves! The location is absolutely stunning and the host communication was perfect. We hope to return again soon to this wonderful beach retreat- perfect for a family looking to relax in a quiet and serene setting!

Great Place

We stayed 4 days over spring break. Great house and location. This house is the epitome of Folly and great for a single family with a dog.

We loved our first stay in 2017 so we had to book again for 2025. The location is ideal for us as it was just outside the busy part of folly beach town but close enough we could easily drive into town within 5-10 minutes. Fully stocked kitchen and essentials which made it easy to cook and clean. I also appreciated the functional dishwasher and washing machine. Everything worked well and was easy to navigate. A big bonus was fenced in porch for our pups for them to hang out in while we were on the beach during restricted times. The two biggest positives apart from the amazing view and access to the beach was being able to bring our pups and booking a partial week as we are not a full week vacation family. The property manager and/or owner was very responsive and helpful when needed. 5 stars all around!

The perfect beach house that allows you to step out your door and on to the beach. ( with your dog! ) Super clean and well equipped. Love the new deck and stairs. We stay here often!

Many bath outlets did not work, one bathroom door did not close, floor sunk in one bathroom feeling unstable, one day rained and entire underneath of home flooded. Ceilings were low and one tall person in our party had to be very careful not to hit his head. He did, however, hit his head many times under house where we parked. I would have liked a broom or vacuum available to help with sand since we had a 3 year old and one year old.

Spring Break

Great location at the quiet end of Folly Beach. You can't get any closer to the beach without being in the water. The house had starters for all paper products and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The floor length family room windows kept the beach feel alive on our 1 rainy day.

Great location and nice place

Enjoyed visiting Folly Beach - close to Charleston and a laid back vibe in town. House is right on the beach and was terrific for walking and watching the waves.
