This quaint condo just 500 feet from Lake Junaluska provides an excellent option for enjoying the great outdoors while maintaining the comforts of home. Step out the front door and take in the breathtaking vista or, for an even closer look, take a dip in the seasonal lakeside pool or walk the trail. In the summer, you can rent kayaks or stand-up paddleboards just across the way from your rental, and the on-site Lake Junaluska Golf Course is open year-round, weather permitting.

Your charming first-floor hideaway is decorated simply with cabin-style furnishings. Fix your favorite meal in the eat-in kitchen. There are several picnic tables in a grassy area outside if you prefer to dine with a view.

After a fun day adventuring in the Blue Ridge Mountains, settle in for the night with some cable TV in the living area.

This vacation rental is not equipped with a dishwasher.

The scenery was beautiful , the campground was quiet, and the condo was roomy and clean. The drawbacks were the issues with the locks, and sagging mattresses.

Loved the location. Good shampoo and conditioner. Good soap. Quiet, peaceful.Window seals had dead bugs, found dead bugs in filter holder for coffee pot when I began to make coffee.

unfortunately in was pouring rain when we arrived for check in. Due to the inability to see the cabin numbers very well, we opened the wrong cabin by mistake. Apparently the same entry code is used for all of the cabins. Though we eventually found the correct cabin, we thought that using the same entry code for all Vacasa properites was not a safe plan.

Decent place

This is a nice place for the money. It was cheaper than the local super8 and met our need. The front door combo lock was especially hard and frustrating to open. It took many, many tries to open EVERY TIME. That should be checked and fixed.

Needs an update

We just wouldn’t stay here again. Everything is kind of old and not kept well, the kitchen is way too small to do anything, even cut something up. The bathroom smells like mold and beds weren’t really comfortable, nor was there enough blankets and pillows. Lake Junaluska is a little further than the pics show and that was our biggest lure.

Great place

We had a great time at our little cottage. It was the perfect spot for our vacation. Close to the Buttered Biscuit, which we love. Right across the street from the boat ramp at Lake Junaluska. A very peaceful and quiet spot to stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning. There were no coffee filters, but we just went right down the street to Dunkin' so not a big deal. Only downside was both beds were full size, not one full and one queen like advertised. We measured to make sure. Lol Made sleeping difficult but we managed. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for the perfect spot. :)

Ok for a short stay

There is absolutely nothing fancy about this place. It was adequate. 2 nights there were guests next door. You could hear them all the time talking at a normal tone. The walls are paper thin. Camp ground staff was very friendly. Location is a convenient drive to everything. Walking wouldn’t be recommended. It is not “500 feet from the lake”. There is no lake view. It was clean and adequate for our short getaway. We stay 30+ nights usually. Wouldn’t do that here.

Functional and enjoyable

Not a luxury apartment, but that's not what we expected. It's a nice space with plenty of room for a family of 4, nice kitchen and full sized fridge, comfy bathroom and plenty of furniture and bedding. The vacasa team was super helpful and we enjoyed the option to extend a late checkout. A decent selection of dishes and cooking utensils, basic stock of trash bags, soap, etc. The TV is VERY limited on channels so if you have kiddos wanting to watch something, bring your own way to play a DVD or Roku or something. Our kids slept on the sofa sleeper so we got the bedroom to ourselves! Nice and quiet, dedicated parking, across the road from one of the most beautiful places on earth. Overall happy with our stay.
