Fully Renovated rural cottage in the perfect spot!

Beautiful, newly remodeled two-bedroom home. Sleeps 6 in the house with each upstairs bedroom featuring Queen beds and a pull-out couch that extends into a memory foam Queen in the living room. If more room is needed, your party may book two 50-amp camper sites with full hookups for $80/night per site (inquire at time of booking). These are just sites for you to bring your RV's. Spacious, private yard with plenty of room for outdoor fun and games. Large covered front porch and rear stamped concrete patio with provided propane grill and plenty of outdoor seating. Located on the historic Vintage Grand Prix Road Course two miles from downtown and walking distance to the Watkins Glen State Park/Gorge entrance. Washing machine and dryer are located in a separate upstairs closet for your convenience. Minutes from Watkins Glen International race track, the Seneca Lake winery/brewery trail, Seneca Lake pier, quaint downtown Watkins Glen, and the Corning Museum of Glass. Perfect for car enthusiasts who would benefit from a U-shaped driveway for plenty of room to maneuver and park your car haulers/trailers. Listen for the train whistle echoing through the gorge cliffs as the locomotive approaches Station road on the historic Norfolk Southern tracks. Relax and enjoy nights under the stars at the provided firepit in the quiet, peaceful back yard.

Absolutely wonderful little cottage! Such a perfect location near Watkins Glen State park. Private lot far enough away from downtown but conveniently close. Would definitely recommend!

I think that the best thing about this place, and something that was a bit of a surprise, is that the upper entrance of Watkins Glen state park is close enough to literally see it from the front porch. It is also a two minute drive to the center of town and the land it is on is pretty scenic. Overall...super clean, comfy, and convenient. We had a bit of an issue with the fire alarm going off a couple of times with no trigger (i.e. we were just watching TV with nothing else on), but I can mark this up to a random electrical hiccup that did not impact the overarching trip.

This was our third stay at Station House, and it was excellent as always.The property is minutes away from Watkins Glen state park and WG international raceway.It is very comfortable and well appointed for both summer and winter getaways.5*s, we can't wait to come back next year.

My wife and I have always wanted to see the Gorge Trail, and this was the perfect home base to do so from. It’s only a five-minute walk to the top of the trail and a quick drive to anywhere else. The location is extremely quiet throughout most of the day and evening. With the windows closed, passing traffic of all types is well muted. It’s wonderfully clean and well laid out. Between the fast WiFi, kitchen, two full baths, washer/dryer, and beautiful outdoor space, this modern house had everything we needed. Parking was super easy, and the host is well-organized and prepared for visitors and makes everything simple.If I were going back to Watkins Glen for any reason, this is where I would stay again. There is nothing about the rental which I wish I had known before I got there. I’m 100% satisfied.

Great house, clean and new. Beautiful grounds. Spacious outdoor spaces. Pull out couch not very comfortable. Would be ok for kids. Lost power due to utility outage which we found out is not uncommon in the area. Host was very responsive.

Drew was great with communication and was flexible with check in based on the cleaning crew schedule. We got there around 1 pm and were able to hang out on the front porch until everything was ready.Great rural setting within a short walk to the upper level entrance of the state park.Great covered front porch and back patio!

You can’t ask for a better place to stay if you’re going to Watkins Glen and the surrounding areas. It is an Immaculate and wonderfully laid out home. It feels so much bigger than the square footage shows in the listing. The property is amazing! Peaceful and private. The back yard past the home property line is a field of red clovers. So relaxing to come back after a day at the Glen, etc and sit in the backyard and stare at the field and watch the sunset. Amazing. Also- it couldn’t be in a better location. As the other reviews have stated- it’s a close drive to town, but you’re away from it all in a serene setting. Perfect! Would love to stay here again!

So I clicked on a star and was taken to a page with several stars but no categories. So I couldn’t rate my stay and I gave up.I will say here we had a great stay. The place was nice, clean and comfortable. It was exceptionally quiet. Outside of town but close enough to easily run in when needed.
