Excellent vacation home

Loved the chalet for its comfort, location, view, and charm. 5 nights was not long enough. We hope to return some day. The area is not only beautiful, it is the perfect place for both hiking and relaxation. Thanks for sharing your home with us to make our 25th wedding anniversary trip so special.

Fantastic Apartment in Wengen Over Lauterbrunnen

The property is in an awesome location with the living room and master bedroom with walkout to a private balcony. From the balcony you have a picture perfect view of the Lauterbrunnen valley, waterfalls, and the peaks of the Jungfrau Region. The apartment was very functional, clean, and comfortable. Great place for a stay in Wengen and Switzerland!

Generally very good. Lack of a microwave in the kitchen was something of a problem. Very warm and good views from the balcony. Superb view of Jungfrau from dining area window.

Swiss Vacation 2024

This was our 4th trip to Switzerland and our second stay in Wengen. We got lucky on this visit and picked an excellent apartment that overlooks Lauterbrunnen from a large private balcony with access from the living room and also from our bedroom. The apartment is very well kept and was very functional with all the necessary features for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

The most beautiful view!

My husband and I spent a week in Wengen and in this beautiful chalet! We arrived late at night and woke up to the most beautiful view! Just stunning. The apartment was very clean and it had everything we needed for our short stay. The manager was very accessible and responded to our questions quickly. We are already looking at our schedule to try and go back again. Very great experience!

Wow the view

We chose this apartment for the view and enjoyed watching the clouds move across the mountains and valley. The living area is open plan so seemed bigger than the photos suggested. The apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable, clean and tidy. Note the ample clothes storage is all in the main bedroom. Location far enough away from the station not to have noise from the trains but station and Co-op only a short uphill walk. Ideal apartment for us. Check-in and out very easy.

Location, Location, Location!

This has one of the best views in Wengen, a town with some of the best views on earth. You wake up in the morning seeing out the bedroom window utter magnificence - like Yosemite Valley capped by the Grand Tetons. It's the contrast of valley with mountains that's so great. The place is 10 minutes downhill from the town center, which makes for a welcome quiet location. My wife and I are 70ish, and we got a workout climbing uphill, but were fine. Call a taxi if needed. This is a splendid rental.

Classic Swiss chalet with breathtaking views

This is a great apartment (top floor of a chalet)! I thought it was better than the photos let on. The wooden walls, ceilings (everything) is actually quite charming and while the bathroom and kitchen are a bit dated they perfectly suit the style of the apartment (and are perfectly functional). The chalet is about 500m downhill from the station so walking back up can be challenging but even our 5 year old managed twice a day. And you can book a taxi if you need/have luggage. The view is breathtaking and can be seen from almost all the windows! We also appreciated the collection of toys provided and the fondue set (given restaurants are so expensive). Interhome also organised a laundry service for us and were easy to deal with for check in and out. Highly recommend!
