Enjoy this wonderful ocean view private lot Craftsman's Cottage Home in North Laguna Beach. Just steps from the glittering surf and sand of popular Shaw's Cove and Crescent Bay. "No" busy traffic to walk across to get to the beautiful beaches. We offer a minimum of 3 nights or a maximum stay of 8 nights with a "request" for additional nights upon approval.
We are right here!! steps from the beach and free trolley for your enjoyment of our town.
This delightful cottage has a casual, California coastal style. Its "Prime" location lets you walk to the Village and discover art galleries, unique shops, and great restaurants. Hop on the Free Trolley to take you to all your favorite spots in Laguna and also services coast highway to Dana Point and back, with stops at restaurants, galleries, and shopping.
This stylized living single-level home offers three spacious bedrooms, two baths, and will provide for 7 adults. Entertain in the living room featuring the warmth of a gas brick fireplace, smart TV, fast Internet WIFI, and soft leather sofa and lounge chairs for you to relax and enjoy. Flowing from there to the dining area which seats eight. This combo living-dining room open concept is highlighted by a nice ocean view. One step entry into the house, make this California Craftsman's Cottage of 1595 sq ft friendly to all guests. Surrounding the cottage are 2 large inviting patios, and grass yards for your time spent relaxing outdoors. Driveway parking for two vehicles. The tranquil courtyards are perfect for having a BBQ. Walk along the ocean park watching the surfers as you explore the Village. Later, while on the covered front porch , see Pelicans drift over the ocean to Seal Rock and hear the waves breaking onto the beach.

Karen and Roger’s home was so comfortable and the perfect place for our family to stay. We had 3 generations staying together and everyone was relaxed and felt right at home. Plenty of beach gear, a well-stocked kitchen, and cozy rooms and shared spaces.

The home was absolutely perfect for a multi-generational beach vacation! Karen was a lovely host, and I just can’t say enough good things about the property- even the neighbors were nice! We came with ages ranging from 4 to 80 years old, three vehicles and all of our bikes. We really enjoyed the roomy outdoor dining and sitting areas. One of the things that really struck me was how quiet and safe the neighborhood felt. We hope to come again!

Our stay was wonderful! The house had everything we needed and was a great set up for kids staying there too as we didn’t have to worry about bringing our own pack n play, high chair, or beach toys/equipment. The location was great with an awesome ocean view from the front porch and just steps away from multiple beach access points. Very cleanly as well. One thing to note is there is not air conditioning in the house, but there are several large fans to help keep cool.

Great home less than two blocks to Shaw's Cove stairs to the beach. We have stayed at several VRBO homes over the years and this one is among the best we have experienced. Home is well kept with many nice touches such as high quality cookware, beautiful porch with ocean view, a long driveway that fits two cars so you don't have to compete for street parking. Has everything you need for the beach. Owners are very friendly and helpful. This home is a gem! Coming back next year.

This was our fifth stay at the Laguna cottage near Shaw’s Cove,and it has been an oasis for our family. We especially love the spacious patio that enables us to eat meals outdoors and the indoor dinning table that is perfect for family board games and puzzle building. A well equipped kitchen provides the tools needed for meal prep, and the three bedrooms are comfortable and attractive. Beach access is just a short walk away and the owners are gracious and quick to respond to inquiries. A wonderful space.

A wonderful stay!

We loved the location of this house! Right by Shaw’s Cove and a great view of the ocean from the front porch. The house is well stocked and I was able to easily communicate with the owners. It’s a beautiful property and we’d definitely return!

50th Birthday Vacation

I was born in Laguna and wanted to celebrate my birthday with my family. My parents and sisters stayed at the home with me. It was a beautiful home very close to the beach in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for a more lovely place to enjoy my birthday the hosts were very helpful and responsive. It was a wonderful experience. 10 accommodations!

Weekend at Laguna Beach

The house and property were exactly as described. It was amazing! The owners were very easy to reach and made for the easiest check in and check out we have experienced yet. And we have rented many VRBO’s. The owners left lots of messages for us about the areas around us to explore, which we did. Super clean and well stocked house. Their BBQ made for a great seafood feast (fish we bought at the market that morning) our 3rd night there. We are so glad we found this place!

Perfect spot for a quiet trip! The coves are more peaceful than the big main beach in Laguna, and the house has a wonderful, mid-century charm with all the new amenities you need.

Great little cottage by the sea

Easy access to a quaint comfy cottage with partial oven views. Clean and organized. Driveway parking. Easy walk to great beach and tide pools. Free trolley but also nice walking to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend. Do 5 of us no problem. Nice front porch with a view for morning brew and computer work. WiFi was great as well.

beautiful house in a great location

The house is spacious and beautiful, with a wonderful beachy vibe! All 3 beds were comfortable. It is just a few minutes walk from a great beach with some very cool tide pools. For those who like to walk a bit, the walk downtown along the coast was fantastic and picturesque. I would highly recommend this house!

Really great place to stay!

This is our second time staying at this house. It’s clean and cozy and so close to Shaw’s cove and crescent bay. It’s the perfect location for a fun beach week with family. Highly recommend!

We have always loved coming to Laguna and this is a great place the year round to experience. We enjoyed enhancing this true Craftsman's Cottage filled with character into a comfortable feeling home. The Cottage at Shaw's Cove is available to be your home away. We have had many family gatherings here since 1965 when my parents remodeled the home to call our own. Come stay and play at the beach. We will make sure every detail is in place and ready for your arrival. Just say when...and book your vacation with us. We have had many families stay multiple times who have enjoyed the beaches, the art galleries, and just the magical feeling of exploring Laguna.

We loved North Laguna from our first family vacation here 1965. Enjoyed spending our time at the beach and snorkeling. discovering its coves and beaches brought us to this special place and to the Cottage. Its charm and comfort along with its great location to the beach was a dream come true. A perfect Beach House to have fun with family and friends! No need to cross busy traffic highways to get to the beach. We are just steps away from the surf and sand to either Shaw's Cove or Crescent Bay. Short walks to all galleries and beaches along with the free trolley that is just steps from our front porch that will take you through Laguna and down as far as Dana Point. Come enjoy the Ride and explore all the Laguna has to offer.

Wake up gazing at the ocean with your first cup of coffee on the front porch already makes it a great day. Being relaxed sitting in wicker chairs you talk about the new day. All the while the sun dances on the water. Then stroll over to the park at Seal Rock to visit the local seals up close. By the time you return the beach is warm and ready for your day playing on the sand. Take the beach chairs and umbrellas down to either of two coves for your delightful day. We are only six blocks to the Village walking along the ocean. Or ride the free Trolley at the bottom of our street to all the shopping and delights Laguna Beach has to offer. Excellent choice for couples and families to vacation together. With plenty of room for all to enjoy and still find places of their own on private patios front and back.
