Gulfgate 204 - Beach Front Beautifully remodeled 2 bed - 2 bath condo at Gulfgate Condominium on Surf Dr. Come stay on the desirable East end of Panama City Beach, just off Thomas Drive, and close to St. Andrew's State Park!

Gulfgate 204 offers breathtaking views and is just steps to pool and beach. Gulfgate is one of Panama City Beach's unique low rise condominiums. FREE Parking and FREE wifi! Gulfgate 204 is on the second floor with the steps and elevator just outside your door.

There is a queen bed in the primary bedroom with a lovely Gulf view and access to the Gulf front balcony. The second bedroom has two twin beds and there is a sleeper sofa in the living area. The two bathrooms are generous in size with a new modern custom tile shower in the primary bathroom and a new tub & shower combo in the guest bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook meals. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the condo. The best part is the beautiful view of the Gulf from the balcony- a perfect spot to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico!

Gulfgate is close to all that PCB has to , ice cream, shopping, arcades, amusement parks, mini golf, pontoon and jet ski rentals, deep sea fishing charters, golf and so much more! All within a 2 mile radius. Guests staying at Gulfgate have numerous amenities: Free Internet - WiFi, Free parking, private beach access, swimming pool and grilling area!

Gulfgate has dedicated Anchor Management staff located on-site that are more than happy to help you and your family have a fun, relaxing, memorable beach vacation! Ask them how to schedule a Beach bonfire with s’mores- yum!

Disappointing Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the condo . It was very clean and up to date. Although we were deeply disappointed that we could not get down to the ocean. We watched people of all ages struggle to reach the water. It is sad when you save to go on vacation and look forward to it all year and can’t enjoy the biggest part the beautiful ocean. It looked like it was a 5 to 6 ft drop off to the water. You would have to walk at least 200 yards in either direction to reach the water. My health would not allow me to do that. It was so disappointing, we know it’s not usually this way because we have stayed at Gulfgate before. I cried everyday. This was not a dream vacation for me or my husband. Our biggest enjoyment is going to the beach and getting in the ocean . Sadly that was not possible this time. This was not how we planned spending our vacation.This was heartbreaking for us both. We feel like we were very cheated by not having a safe access to the ocean. Not sure that we will be coming back to Gulfgate because of this.

I was disappointed that the thermostat would only go to 70 but no lower. And it appeared that the thermostat had WiFi controls. We woke up several times hot during the night and the temp had been swapped from 70 to 80. That wasn’t a big deal. The most disappointing part was waking up our last morning to water draining in from the ceiling in the master bathroom. My hair straightener and drying brush along with all our toiletries were ruined. I called at 6:18 and reported the water and they were just getting there to clean it up when we were checking out at 10. I mentioned to the manager that I had items ruined by the water and all I got was a “I’m sorry”. It could use some cleaner pillows and rug.

However, if we had, I think we would’ve had problems sleeping because it faces the front and light does shine in, and the air conditioning unit is right next to the bed and is very loud. overall highly recommend this complex. If you’re looking to stay at Panama City without the crowds and great location, this is your spot. 😊
