The Blue Goose is your perfect home away from home. Two blocks from the beach and five minutes to Folly Center St, it’s perfect for couples or families with kids. This designer beach house is located in a quiet neighborhood with beach access only one home away - it's exactly what you need when you visit Folly.

Step inside to a pristine living space, with brand new floors installed in December 2023. The open-air feel will make you feel instantly relaxed. The living room offers all the comforts of home, while the beachy decor reminds you you’re on a beautiful beach vacation. Recline on the sectional and watch a movie or favorite TV show after a long day at Folly Beach. Also in the living room is a dedicated workspace for the remote worker or student of the group. The spacious kitchen has all the necessities for making delicious meals together. Off the kitchen is a covered deck where you can relax while being surrounded by the green foliage of palm trees. Be sure to take advantage of all the deck has to offer, including a grill and outdoor dining space. Guests can even hear the ocean waves from the deck.

Games galore! Play cornhole or challenge each other to Ping-Pong tournaments in the spacious garage.

This home is in the perfect location for guests hoping to enjoy all that Folly Beach has to offer including beautiful beaches, a golf course, and local shops and restaurants. And for guests wanting to explore a city, Charleston is just a short drive away.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 2.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Awesome beach house

My family of 6 stayed at the blue goose for Thanksgiving and had an awesome stay! It was the perfect place. Great location and close to everything. We’d stay there again the next time we go to Charleston!

Great house and location!

This was the perfect place for two families and kids! The house was clean and spacious and the location was ideal… a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

“Family” Vacation

Great location

We loved the blue goose! It was in a great location with awesome fun amenities, ping pong, corn hole, and bikes! Also had a few sand toys and chairs! Great quiet shaded street and very clean property! We hope to rent again next year!

Ladies trip

Great location. Great for a group of 6. Wonderful screened in porch. Not a ton of kitchen stock but we didn’t cook much so didn’t matter. Lots of the lights were burnt out especially in the bathrooms. But other than a few minor things I would rent again. Proximity to beach access is perfect!

Does not have 2 Queen beds

Nice house but not as advertised. House has 1 queen, 1 full and 4 single beds. With 2 tall adult couples and 4 kids, one couple was stuck in a full sized bed all week. Vacassa has been completely unresponsive.

Perfect location, beautiful beach.

What a great place to stay. Folly Beach is such an amazing little surf town with plenty of places to eat/drink, things to do and places to relax - all within a stones throw of beautiful downtown Charleston. The Blue Goose, located mere seconds from one of the best beaches on Folly, is a large, clean and welcoming property. The newly renovated house is managed by a large international property management company (with a local presence) and as such lacked some of the small personal touches of other vacation rental properties. Not necessarily a negative, and can be viewed as an asset if you need any help with the property, but the personal feel wasn’t necessarily there. Bring beach towels and get up early at least once to catch the breathtaking sunrise or sleep late and watch the dolphin play in the surf. Walk to town for a croissant in the morning or hit Bert’s for those last minute forgotten things, Folly and the Goose are where it’s at. What a great, great place to unwind.

Bright clean house close to the action

We had a fabulous stay here in the well-appointed Blue Goose. Watch for extra Vacasa management fees as you are comparing prices!! On-location staff were quick to respond when we arrived to a home with four empty soap dispenser. Cannot beat the location close to beach and all downtown attractions!

Blue Goose Beach House

It’s a nice clean beach house that is a short couple blocks to the beach and short walk to town. It’s perfect for kids with a room that has 2 bunk beds. Although there is no view of the beach it does have a nice deck with a screened in pourch. There is a good chance that I’ll rent it again.

Nice house…would go back.

This house ticks a lot of boxes. It looks recently updated, the house was clean, nicely furnished and in a good location. The first floor is the garage, which has ping pong and corn hole. The second floor is the main floor with bedrooms on the third floor. If we go back to Folly Beach, I would try to stay in this house again. What more can I say?

This Must Be The Place

We instantly fell in love with Folly Beach and the Blue Goose was the perfect place to stay. The house has everything you need: linens, towels, fully stocked kitchen, games (including baggo) and even a few beach chairs and boogie boards. In 3 minutes you can walk to the beautiful beach, wade in the shallow waves and watch the locals surf, or you can be at a number of unique bars that have great eats and nightly music. We will come back again and again.

Gorgeous Vacation Home

I stay in vacation homes often and this is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever experienced. First, the home itself was beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable spacious, and spotlessly clean. A Keurig, drip coffee, and French press were all available in the well stocked kitchen. Any kitchen tools or cookware you needed to make a gourmet meal was there. The screened in patio was a fantastic spot for drinking coffee and watching the palm trees sway. Upstairs, each bedroom was clean, beach themed, and comfortable. Beds were great, shower water power was strong, and plenty of closet space and drawers. The best part was falling asleep listening to the waves. Easy Walking distance to downtown and the beach, even for a 6 year old and 3 year old. Vacasa was quick to respond to our needs and fixed a very small issue almost immediately. Beach towels and all necessities provided. Fantastic service! Absolutely loved The Blue Goose!
