A house of love! The first renters to this house set the tone by getting married here. Since then everyone who visits notices the air of congeniality that pervades this home. It is light and airy with original art and artifacts in every room. Two plant-adorned decks are perfect spots for star-gazing at night and coffee-drinking in the morning. The house has every convenience imaginable and is two tiers from the beach. The well-planned neighborhood is full of trees and winding streets .It is a short drive to the Pleasure Pier, the Strand's shops and eateries, Schlitterbahn, miniature golf, and batting cages, yet far from the maddening crowd.

The house was great and the location a short walk to the beach. The beds were comfortable. The owner needs to do some work on the outside stairs, siding and sliding glass door lock to make it perfect.

We celebrated my son's 17th birthday this past weekend with family and we had a blast. The house is very clean, loved the patios, and beds were very comfortable, just a very peaceful home. We were close to the beach and only 13 mins to Schlitterbahn. Our host, Suzanne, is so sweet, very friendly, and responsive to any questions that I had. She made sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was enjoyable! Shoutout to the handyman, Tracy, for stopping by for minor fixtures. He came within 5 mins of my call and even gave my mom and kids a lift to the beach! 20 out of 20 for this wonderful stay, with an awesome host and handyman! We will be back! Thank you so much, Suzanne, for being the amazing host you are! :-)

Lovely house but needs TLC

The location is great, the owner was helpful when we called and sent a handyman to fix some of the issues. The house set up is awesome but the house needs maintenance and normal upgrades. For example, The door key didn’t work, the door and screen didn’t open properly, not all the blinds worked. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I recommend this house after some of this maintenance is done.

Fabulous!

The home is exactly as described. Very clean. , had everything available in case we had forgotten anything. All the beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels . Washer and dryer worked perfect. The AC worked fantastic! A lovely neighborhood, literally 2 minute walk to the beach. We could not have been happier !

Family fun at the beach!

Everything was great! Lots of towels, games, beach toys, and chairs. Slept 10 people comfortably. The letter magnets on the fridge were fun! The beach was private for that community, not crowded and clean. We enjoyed our time!

Loved the house and location. Recommend renting a golf cart.

We enjoyed everything about the house. It was very well stocked and supplied plenty of beach toys. It was very clean. The indoor stairs were a little difficult for my pregnant daughter but we managed. Its really best for about 10 people and we had 11 so one slept on the couch.

Pirates beach getaway

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Pirates Beach House. The property was walking distance to the beach, in quiet a neighborhood with friendly neighbors. It was close enough to the local attractions for us. We would love to make this a yearly trip.

We had a wonderful time, short distance to the beach. The king size bed is so comfortable, slept wonderful.
