セネカレイクワイントレイルの中心にある人里離れたドライブに囲まれた湖は、ハーストのハイダウェイと呼ばれる湖の家です。 信じられないほどのレベルの湖岸から文字通り10フィートにあるこのエアコン完備の2300平方フィートの家でリラックスしてください。 パノラマビューは息をtakingむほどです。 また、100フィートのドックがあり、太陽を浴びたり、泳いだり、心ゆくまでリラックスしたり、Russound Multiroom Entertainment System（Sirius Satellite Radio

We’ve been renting this beautiful house for quite a few summers. Matt is an awesome host and this house never disappoints. Plenty of room, well stocked with all the essentials. Great location as well!

Everything was as advertised. We had 8 adults and 4 children and the room layout was great. Also - there were plenty of toys and things already there that the children enjoyed. Nice location equidistant to Penn Yan and Geneva and easy drives to many wineries. Would love to stay again next year.

We had a wonderful vacation at Herbst’s Hideaway. Host Matt was informative, friendly and responsive. The property is beautifully situated directly on the lake and has multiple kayaks and a peddle boat for excursions. The house is well stocked with kitchenware, grill etc…, and the AC was great for warm nights. Location is convenient to Penn Yan, and both Geneva and Watkins Glen are also easily accessible.

This was our third year at this wonderful property and we’re coming back again in 2027. It’s the perfect size for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Everything you need to prepare meals and have fun in the lake is provided. Matt’s communications were great. He responded to our questions clearly and quickly.

Large open living room/dining room with a well stocked beautiful kitchen. The bedrooms were all spacious and clean with plenty of gorgeous bathrooms for our group. The view of the sunrise over Seneca Lake was spectacular. I thought the mattress topper in the master made it too soft but that’s my preference.

place was well stocked with housewares to make our meals in the evening. Convenient to the wine trail being halfway up the west side. i would definitely rent from again.

Herbst's Hideaway was a beautiful house with a breathtaking lakefront view! The house was spotless with a well equipped perfectly clean kitchen. The dishware pattern was so pretty and was all matching and had a large quantity. There was a Keurig and regular coffee maker. The linens were plush and clean. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and spotless. Communication with Matt was the best! I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home on Seneca Lake. The bedrooms were large, clean, and had enough room for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a closet full of toys and games that the kids loved! Outside, there wasn't a beach, but the ladders on the dock made it easy to access the water to use the kayaks. Water shoes and life jackets were also provided. I wish the water had been warm enough to swim in! We will have to plan to come later in the Summer next time.

The Kitchen was so well equipped. Host was so helpful. beautiful view and memories made on lovely dock with great chairs. Comfortable beds plenty of towels in bathrooms.

This was our group’s 5th year at Herbst Hideaway! The location is fantastic for wining, dining, relaxing and just hanging out. Matt is super responsive and the house has everything we need. We already booked 2026!

Great View, FANTASTIC property

Fantastic Summer Stay!

My family and I had a fantastic time once again at this beautiful lake house! The location is right on beautiful Seneca Lake and is super close to the wineries/breweries. Matt was always available if we had questions and the house was very clean. We loved our stay!

Great lakeside visit

This home is spotless, well-stocked and sized perfectly for our group of 4 couples. The view is fantastic and the location’s proximity to wineries and breweries is terrific. This was our 3rd annual trip to this property and we are already planning our return for year 4!

When I found this place on VRBO I thought it might be too good to be true, but it is just as advertised- gorgeous house with great amenities and excellent dock right on the water The owner was very nice and responsive to any questions Highly recommended
