Perfectly positioned near Heavenly skiing and El Dorado Beach, this cabin ensures a fun-filled Tahoe getaway in every season! Vaulted ceilings soar above plush furnishings in the living area, and a wood-burning fireplace creates added allure. Other highlights include handsome hardwood floors. Outfitted with a gas grill and a picnic table, the front deck is perfect for alfresco meals. The basketball hoop in the driveway is a bonus. The spacious fenced yard offers a peaceful oasis with alfresco dining, two hammocks, and solar lanterns.

Drive less than four miles to El Dorado Beach or about three and a half to Heavenly Mountain Resort. Powerline Trail is one mile away. Find food and fun nearby in South Lake Tahoe and Stateline.

Kick back on the queen sofa bed in the living area and log in to Netflix on the smart TV. You'll also find an electronic dartboard. The kitchen is appointed with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Share peaceful morning meals at the breakfast table.

Sleep soundly in the primary bedroom with an = adjacent bathroom. One guest bedroom boasts a private balcony with two armchairs.

Complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer are provided. Added perks include board games and many outdoor games and toys, including cornhole, ladder toss, badminton, football, paddleball, and sand toys.

THINGS TO KNOW
Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.
This home is not equipped with air-conditioning.
Due to heavy ice sliding from the roof this winter, it is not safe for occupants or dogs to enter the backyard.
The grill and outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during winter months.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great vacation home

My family had an amazing vacation in this cozy and beautiful home. The entire home was clean and everything worked as it should. We enjoyed having breakfast on the front patio and relaxing on the hammocks in the large enclosed backyard. I would stay here again for our next Lake Tahoe vacation and also recommend it to my friends and family.

The lot is a good size in front and back. House is cozy and warm feeling and the size was perfect for our group of four. Slept great on the beds. Enjoyed playing darts with good food and drinks each night!

Great Cabin

Great place for my family and dogs, they made it easy We did have our water turned off twice , due to the city working on the streets all day , at no fault of the owners . We did clean up old dog poop so not to get blamed for our doggie , but other than that great place we will stay there again!

Cozy A frame Cabin

The cabin is cute and the decor and furniture is retro, but was perfect for our trip to a family wedding. The bed was comfy and and the kitchen and bathroom had the basic items for coffee and such. We had quick response when we had questions about items through texting. Our dog loved the back yard to walk around and and learned how to use the wood stairs. The front porch was nice and the lights on the house were great to sit outfront and hang out on the picnic table where my dog was able to be off leash on the front gated patio. It was a nice neighborhood and we walked to our families cabin just down the road.. Loved the smell of the large pine trees.

Overall good

The location was great. Easy to check in and check out. The blankets and sheets seemed a bit old and in need of being replaced or cleaned. We did locate quite a bit of old blood on one of the comforters. Which was terrible to find. Based on the money we spent I would expect better quality sheets and blankets comforters etc.

Great property, Lack of communication

My family and I stayed for 3 nights in December. Pros: The property itself is great - spacious, cozy, good location. Cons: Had to check in with Vacasa office 10 minutes away from property; no firewood provided (which became a HUGE issue when the power went out); no call back or response when we requested firewood & a lantern during power outage; no snow plowing as advertised. Couch, kitchen towels and washer were dirty.

Great spot for a getaway

We really enjoyed our stay, plenty of space for myself, partner, my parents and my two kids, age 5 and 7, and our dog too. Fenced in backyard with badminton, corn hole, hammocks and outdoor furniture; space to store our bikes behind the fence too. The living space and couch are great, kitchen is tight but pretty well stocked. Beds are comfortable and fans in every room which was necessary for some warm late summer nights. The only complaint I have is that the TV did not work (could not log out of Netflix account on smart TV on day 1 and could not even turn on TV by day 5). We stayed a week and there was no shampoo (even a sample) provided, and only 1 backup toilet paper role per bathroom. We were 6 people for 7 nights, so we had to go buy our own. Those were minor pieces though, and I would stay there again. We could bike easily to some trails and to town if necessary. Quiet and friendly neighborhood.

The size and location is good except the neighbor didn’t like my boys playing catch in the street. She was recording them from her window and then came out and started recording them, so that was a bit stressful. Afterwards we were not able to fully relax although we didn’t exceed the amount of people or cars. If you have kids I don’t recommend this place. Although I don’t think young adults would be better. It was my family of four and my parents and we are pretty quiet but it was still stressful. We felt like we were being watched the whole time. We understand the crack down on noise in Tahoe, but this level of neighbor watch was a bit much. The flat basketball was a big disappointment to my boys, hence the football in the street. The net was tattered too. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash in either of the showers so bring your own. Ice maker doesn’t work so bring ice as well. The fans were full of dust. I had to take one out on the porch and broom it off. There was left over dog poop in the backyard and the washer was very gross. I unfortunately don’t think I would stay there again and it’s a shame because the location is good, the size of the house is good, comfortable beds and it stays cool

Cute but needs updating

Loved: All of the extras in the kitchen, big fireplace, comfy bed, large sofa, strong internet signal. Washer and dryer. Vacasa hosts were super responsive. Loved that I could bring my dogs. Did not love: porch completely dark when we arrived. Broken furniture on front deck when we arrived. Broken toys and other toys scattered through the back yard. All the dog poop that was revealed once snow started melting. Bad previous guests for not cleaning up after their pups. Trash cans were packed full. Lack of instructions inside unit I.e. WiFi password. I would have liked to have departure instructions a couple of days before departure (at least). Getting them a couple of hours before check out time left me scrambling. All in sll, we liked the house, and would definitely stay there again.

Disappointed

The property was ok but the cleanliness was not not good. We had to wash the towels and the bed sheets before we slept. The floors were dirty, soap dispensers not filled or empty. Given dirty sponge from previous renters. Dog poop in backyard from other dogs and trash. Toilet seat cracked upstairs...you can imagine how that felt. Fireplace grate burned out and you have to bring your own wood etc. The ice maker does not make ice etc. The code we were sent to open door didn't work but they did resolve that. I could accept all of that but the cleanliness no. Its unacceptable to pull back the bed sheets and see dirt and human hairs in the bed. They did not smell clean...not ok. They even have a washer machine so that is even worse. We moved the rug and we couldn't believe the amount of dirt and food underneath it. Everything is pretty old in the cabin it could use some updates. I would definitely not rent from Vacasa again. I had no idea that when you rent through Vrbo some rentals go through a third party. If you try and cancel or reschedule good luck! Definitely scroll all the way down on the rental page and see if you are renting through Vacasa. Of course south lake tahoe is amazing so how can you have a bad time. I would not stay here again due to the cleanliness and Vacasa. For 900$ I'm sure I can find something better in the future. I hate writing a bad review but other people should know before making an expensive decision. I hope the owners read this and make some changes

Cozy Home Close to Many Attractions.

The home was spotless when we arrived and stocked with all of the kitchen items we needed and many more extras tucked into closets. It is close to a grocery store, but very quiet off of the main roads. Easy to navigate to wherever you would like to go near Lake Tahoe. My party and I all got a wonderful nights sleep and enjoyed lounging in the hammocks in the back yard. We had a little trouble navigating the steps leading into the backyard due to the bottom step being so high off the ground ( the folks over 50 had the trouble, our young ones did not!) Our small dogs were contained in the fenced backyard without worrying about them getting out. All in all, an superlative experience. Would definately rent again.

A Relative Bargain in a Pricey Locale

Can't complain, this isn't the fanciest place around but it's also one of the most reasonable. No cable TV but wifi was stable and fast so Roku and Netflix and Hulu are available and hey, probably not here for the television. Kitchen has pretty much everything you could need if you're planning on cooking here, freezer doesn't have an ice maker (well it does but it's not connected to the water supply), there's an ice tray so a little planning works fine. 2 full baths helps, full size washer & dryer; baths do not have exhaust fans but each has a window and there are multiple portable fans around the house that can be positioned to get the humidity out of the room (obviously just make sure that there's another window open somewhere in the house to draw air in). Double sink in downstairs bath. You can't park on the street as a transient renter anywhere in El Dorado County but there's plenty of room here in the driveway for 3 cars. Very quiet neighborhood not right in the Village but 5 to 7 minutes to just about anywhere. A-frame design is charming, necessarily limits head room in the upstairs bedrooms but that's part of the character. Plus, they'll accept a pet (for a fee), that's pretty rare. Overall, the price/benefit ratio is fine so as I said, can't complain and thus earns a comparative 5 stars.
