Garden Cottage 71 Serenity Cottage

Find your serenity in this charming townhome-style beach cottage conveniently located with in The Cottages at Jekyll Island oceanfront community. Open concept floor plan with master suite (KING)) on the main floor. Serenity offers a well-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and Mr. Coffee. The living area and master are open to a screened-in porch. Enjoy serenity in the shade of the grand oak in the backyard - a large paver patio with a fire pit and grill with outdoor seating is the perfect gathering spot for evening entertaining. Guests will enjoy their own private spaces with two bedroom ensuites (Queen & King) located on the second floor, each room opens to a large upper balcony with additional seating. 4 bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrella and cooler included for guests use with rental. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include a Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community fire pit.

2 Parking Spaces - No trailers of any kind allowed.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

The property was wonderful; nice and clean with enough of the normal stuff (plates, towels, etc.) to enjoy without thinking about the small stuff. Right near the ocean, so we got out in the early morning so we could walk out to get our steps with a cup of coffee. The island was good but also close to St. Simons and antiquing in Brunswick. We even took a day trip to Okefenokee swamp and a back water boat ride. A great place to stay in a great spot in GA.

Fantastic

Beautiful home with all the comforts. Books, games, solitude if you like, and even a poker set which we enjoyed nightly. Very fun. Loved the stay.

Excellent property, clean, spacious and comfortable.

We loved our stay and will definetely come back. The beach is not the best and you must be aware of the tides to really enjoy it. The pool is very good.

The accomodations were clean and nicely decorated by the owner. We enjoyed good food at Tortuga Jacks, the Wharf (sooo good), Zachary's Riverhouse, Corridor Z and the Sunrise Cafe. We would come back and stay a week. this was not my first time at the Cottages and I would return for a longer stay with friends who want to come.

Very nice

Very nice condo amazing upgrades and the community was amazing the pool and beach are maybe a 3 minute walk away. Communication with property manager was fast and easy!! Definitely will stay again when we are back down!

Sweet Getaway

We were excited to introduce friends to our favorite beach/island. This home was wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped. I especially appreciated the extra hanging hooks that were located in all the bathrooms and even some in the rooms. Given that you cannot hang towels or wet suites on balconies and porches, providing extra places to hang wet things was brilliant. Big thank you! It was great having a few bikes for our use as well as several beach chairs in the storage room. The house was very cozy and not a far walk from from the pool and beach access.

Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our second stay on the Cottages property and hosted all of our children and grandchildren with two adjacent cottages. It was very comfy and in great condition. Lots of places to relax and visit. Appliances in wonderful working order and enjoyed the lovely porches and furniture to relax on after a day biking and at the pool. Tad was very quick to assist with a minor cabinet issue and no problems at all. We have truly found our family tradition!

Mostly great

Everything was great EXCEPT the property bylaws preventing the storage of trailers on the property… my condo didn’t happen to have a garage, and despite having a two car drive way where my trailer I used to tow my golf cart would easily fit, I was not allowed to stow the trailer on the property… this would be fine if the property offered any suggestions as to where to put the trailer during our stay, but the rep I spoke with ( actually they texted me and wouldn’t answer the phone) offered little or no help. The end result was I was forced into having my trailer stored down the road at another property… it just seems ridiculous when golf carts are pretty much the norm these days that this high quality property wouldn’t be prepared in any way to accommodate, or even deal with, these types of situations
