I'm writing this against my better judgement...because the more exposure Indigo gets, the less likely it is that it'll ever be available again! Pictures of Indigo don't do it justice, and I'm sure my words won't either, but here goes. The owners, Mark and Aimee, were incredibly helpful and responsive from the moment we booked throughout our entire stay. Not only were they extremely accommodating, they also kept us informed of any changes in travel restrictions, openings, closings, etc.
When we arrived at the property, it was immaculate! The housekeeper, Shirley, was so warm and kind. She walked us around the grounds, helped us arrange an excursion, and set up a chef for multiple nights. The caretaker and groundskeeper were there daily, keeping the property looking like a 5 star resort for even the most discriminating travelers. Everything in the house is of the highest quality. The furniture both indoor and outdoor is extremely comfortable and there are so many areas to sit outside. The kitchen appliances are all Sub-Zero/Wolf/GE Monogram and there's a very nice Weber grill we used several times. The beach is literally endless in both directions and I'm not sure we ever saw more than 10 people during our 7 day visit. We brought water shoes in case of a rocky shoreline but there's nothing but sand and turquoise water.
The layout of Indigo is perfect for both families or multiple couples. The main house has a large living room, dining area and kitchen. Then there are separate buildings on either side, one with a master bedroom and sitting area. The other has 2 separate beautiful bedrooms, each with a bathroom, and a large gameroom on the second floor.
Don't get too attached to the oceanside because a short walk to Savannah Sound is it's own paradise. The Sound is an adventure in itself, filled with mangroves, sea turtles, stingrays, starfish, and we even saw 3 dolphins. You'll find every shade of water color between green and...of course...indigo as you explore several miles in either direction. It's simply breathtaking!
I could go on and on about Indigo but my best suggestion is to take the plunge. It's impossible to stay there and not be blown away. It exceeded every expectation we had and then some!
