Wonderful updated two bedrooms and two full bathroom Beachwalk condo in Shipyard with a short easy walk to the beach. You have a very nice size kitchen to prepare meals in after a great day at the beach. Granite counters and stainless steel appliances have been installed. Kitchen overlooks the living room and dining area. You can walk right out to the large deck off the living room. Living room has foldout couch and large flat screen TV to enjoy movies and your favorite shows. Master bedroom has king size bed with sitting area and en suite master bath. Guest room has queen size bed and twin bed with access to full bath. Very nice updated condo near the beach. Condo sleeps seven people comfortably. Your reservation includes bike rentals and beach gear with every stay. There is a private grill just off the deck for the condo for guests to use. 161 Beachwalk in Shipyard is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Head Vacations, Inc, a locally owned company.

17 miles of white sandy beaches are within an easy walk from 161 Beachwalk. Shipyard has easy beach access and Beachwalk is close enough to walk to the beach. Shipyard has miles of shaded bike paths and wonderful tennis courts to enjoy too. 27 holes of golf are right in the community. Sonesta hotel is right across the street with fabulous dining facilities and nice bar to have your favorite beverage. Van Der Meer Tennis courts and pickle ball courts are right beside the Sonesta hotel making it easy to get in some practice on vacation.

Hilton Head Island offers over 17 miles of beaches, 118 miles of bike paths, over 200 restaurants, 250 shops, 30 golf courses, 400 tennis and pickle ball courts to fill your vacation with outdoor activities and dining options. You can also go deep sea fishing, para sailing, dolphin watching or just relax on the beaches and get a nice tan. Day trips can be included to see historic Savannah or Charleston too. Beachwalk

Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the beachwalk condo. We loved being able to walk or bike to the beach, had fun in the pool and found the condo to be a great spot for our family of 5! We would recommend it and would definitely return to stay again.

Average, but good

Despite not being updated as stated in the description, the property was basic and clean. There were no extra details or frills to speak of. It could use a bit od refreshing, added kitchen supplies, updated window coverings, etc. The location to the beach and neighboring things was excellent. Checkin was seamless and responses to questions were adequate.

Review of 161 Beachwalk Shipyard Plantation

This property had a good location but needed some maintenance work on outside and inside. We called on day we arrived about clogged sink in Master bath and kitchen lights not working, but no one came to repair the entire week we were there. The front door of property needs sprucing or replaced because it looks like it has been pryed at some point. It was obvious that the owner was also a business rather than a private owner who tends to take better care of place.

Convenient beach stay

It’s been several years since I stayed in Beachwalk, it’s aptly named because of the easy walk to the beach. This section of Shipyard Plantation needs work, we noticed a lot of broken and rotting boards on the deck. One of the plastic chairs outside was also broken. Inside was surface-cleaned but it could use a deep clean. Cabinet door above sink was very broken (I took a photo when we got in and sent to the rental company). Other than those things, the home was convenient to the beach and the pool, the rental company provided dish soap and some laundry pods as well as shampoo and body soaps which was great because sometimes I tend to forget one of those items. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils, coffee makers, paper towels, all the things you need. A grill, too. Overall the home was what we needed for the time we used it, we were at the beach and pool most of the time. I appreciate the owner/rental company accommodating us for the odd days we chose.

Fall Break trip

It was a very simple process from beginning to end. The property was clean and well stocked. The location was an easy walk to the beach and convenient to many local restaurants. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future

Great Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed this condo for our family vacation. It had a great pool within walking distance, a shaded walkway with easy access to the beach. The only thing we wish was better was the sofa in the living room… a very uncomfortable sleeper sofa. The condo was equipped with beach chairs, extra pillows and blankets and kitchen essentials. It was beautifully decorated, there was plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. A few things that need tending to are; not enough light in MB, a broken ironing board, MB outlet not working, MB sink slow to drain, uncomfortably strong water pressure in MB shower, wine cooler in kitchen not functional, and broken oven storage drawer. I would stay here again if those few things were fixed.

Beautiful Condo, Perfect Location

We have stayed in Shipyard many time but this was the first time in Beachwalk. It was just perfect. The location to the beach and pool are both short walks, the neighborhood is full of friendly people and the condo was as comfortable as my home. It was clean, well decorated and completely stocked with anything we needed! The beach chairs were a great plus! We can’t wait to book this again next year.
