Great Stay!

I had a great stay - had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Perfect back yard for my little dogs - they had a blast running around and the fence was in excellent shape, giving me a sense of security.

The house is a great little spot in Dallas and especially well located for the Lovefield airport and its surrounding area. House was cozy and perfect for my weekend stay! The host was helpful and quick with all communication too.

Beautiful home in a quiet and safe neighborhood

Our stay was wonderful! This house had plenty of room, way more than I was expecting and the decor was so cute. The location was close to everything in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets and bedding if needed. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was very friendly when I had to call with a question. I have saved the property and will stay here if we visit the area again. So glad I booked this place, it exceeded my expectations!

It was double booked

We didnt get to stay because the property was double booked. Booked in Sept. And had tobook the day i goti to town with another company. Very disppointing

Perfect Location & Host

My husband and I stayed in the Dallas duplex following a medical procedure. The proximity to the Medical District could not have been any more convenient. We were able to get to appointments in less than 5 minutes. This is the most darling little duplex; it has so much charm and character. We walked the neighborhood daily and felt so safe. Ms. Catherine is the best owner we have ever dealt with. She is so communicative and anticipated our every need. If we had any issues or questions, she was so responsive and helpful. If we ever have to return to the area, this home is our first choice.

Host cancelled us with less than 24 hours notice

We were contacted the day before the booking with instructions and a welcome. A few hours later received a text from the host telling us someone was already in the property and that we needed to call vrbo to cancel the stay. After many calls to vrbo over 3 days, we received and email saying our refund was being processed.

Rusty, we didn’t cancel you. VRBO is notorious for double booking a property (happens at least once a month) and then they claim the host is responsible. They charged us $135 for their mistake and paint us as the villain when it is 100% an unresolved problem with their platform that all hosts encounter and beg them to address, yet they do nothing to fix it. Instead they billed us $135, ruined your plans, convinced you it was our fault, and in the process they hurt the small guys. Severely hurting our small business by disrespecting your trip and shifting blame to the host, which understandably led to a 1 star review. I urge you to read online reviews from other hosts. This is an ongoing problem that we are powerless over. All I can do is invite you stay with us in the future at a 20% discount and ask that you research this common and unfair practice by VRBO in hopes that you will change your review. Give us a chance, I beg you. The 20% discount doesn’t expire. It’s only fair given the nonsense you experienced and considering we’re asking you to research and change your review to support rather than hurt a small family owned business, it’s well deserved to show you firsthand that we are genuine people.
