Welcome to Flotsam! A stunning oceanfront home with iconic Haystack Rock views.

It's true..... location, location, location! And Flotsam truly sits on a premiere oceanfront location in Pacific City. This meticulously clean and well-loved contemporary home is complete with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings and bedding, 2 gas fireplaces, table games, puzzles and books. It has beautiful artwork and décor, with hardwood, porcelain tile and carpeted floors throughout. It is the perfect place to get away and truly "experience" the splendor of the Oregon coast.

Magnificent ocean and evening sunset views abound from the wall of windows and deck in the living/dining/kitchen area and the spacious upstairs master suite. Swelling waves, surfers, dories, colorful kites, and seabirds can fill the view. The second floor bedroom windows and deck face east towards the friendly little beach town of Pacific City and to the Nestucca River. This home offers easy access to the beach in front of the house and is a short walk to town or Cape Kiwanda. Because there are two private en-suite bedrooms, it's the perfect house to share, or keep all to yourself! The third bedroom on the ground floor has two bunkbeds and an adjacent full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Our family treasures this house and uses it often. We ask guests to take good care of it during their stay and respect our house rules which include: ABSOLUTELY NO PETS (family members have severe allergies), NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN THE HOUSE. NO PARTIES. Neighborhood QUIET TIME: From 10 pm to 8 am. MAXIMUM GUESTS ALLOWED: 8 (per Tillamook County)

We invite you to kick off your shoes and grab the book you've been meaning to read, assemble the kites you want to fly, take a long walk on the beach, and relax into what we fondly call our "beach zone at Flotsam."

We had a lovely time at this house! Great location - a short distance from the bustling Pacific City beach, which allowed for both more private beach time (right in front of the house) and a short walk to all the action (sand dune, tide pools, Dory boats, etc.). We would stay here again! House was clean and all ready for us. Great communication with host.

Wonderful spot to stay

Great views of the ocean. Roomy enough for all 6 of us.Close to crabbing adventures, small grocery, and some of the best food with in walking distance. A coffee shop was a special treat! We were unexpectedly surprised to find that it was Dory Days. The parade route was on the street below the driveway! Deer wandered thru outside the deck very morning. Beautiful The cons? Very difficult trek thru the sand and back up the hill to the house.

Great city, awesome view

The house was perfectly set on a gorgeous outlook of haystack rock and minutes away from Cape Kiwanda and a short walk to Meg’s Beachouse for food. We frequented both a few times. Pacific city is an underdeveloped gem of a town! The house was very well stocked with lots of instructions and information. Suited our family of 7 perfect. Other than a fewMinor details it was a perfect place to stay! Highly recommend.

Perfect Getaway

We had the most wonderful time here. The home was in a great location. We woke up to an amazing view every morning. The house has a great layout with spacious rooms and plenty of room for relaxing. We made a lot of use of the well stocked kitchen. Susie, the host, was very helpful and responsive to questions. This was one of the best trips we’ve taken. We hope to return and we will definitely stay here again!

We had the best time staying here. The location, views, accommodations were all wonderful. The kitchen is insane to cook in with the view. The sound system is also lots of fun. Overall this was just a super great place to hang out and worship the beach through those glorious windows.

Great stay!

Wonderful family time at this property! Had everything we were looking for. I might add the twin/double bunks were a challenge with the kids. Ages 11 and 14. The lower full bunk lacked a suitable mattress. Add a quality mattress and you get 5 stars!

Oregon Coast

The house is amazing. Wonderful windows & decks face the ocean. A large fully stocked kitchen worked well for staying in, rather than going out to to eat. I particularly loved all the wonderful art & craft items hanging through out the house. I would include that access to the beach is a steep climb on the dunes.

Luckert family beach trip

The location is amazing. Sits at the end of the row of houses with a berm blocking the right side from any neighbors. The view is WOW!!. Very private. The house and decor are stunning and very comfortable. Wish there was more comfortable seating for outside. We day deer in the yard and birds everywhere. Even saw a whale. Thank you for being such great hosts.

Relaxing long weekend

We loved our visit to Flotsam! My family from Portland mer our friends from CA to give them their first experience of the Oregon coast. They are already asking to book again next year! The home is gorgeous and well stocked, from rooms to bathrooms to kitchen. The location is perfect, right on the dunes and very quiet. We had panoramic views of both the ocean and the river. We enjoyed being a little bit away from the bustle near Pelican, but still a quick drive to enjoy that area. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything We Needed for Our Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Flotsam! The location is almost as good as the view. The house is very well stocked and very clean. Most days, we boogie boarded right out front of the house with wetsuit rentals from Moment Surf. Other days, we walked down the beach for appies and beers at Pelican Brewing or to climb the “dune” near the Haystack Rock. We would definitely recommend you book here! You won’t regret it!
