700 sq ft Family unit in the center of downtown Fairfax. Less than 0.5 miles to Deer Park Villa and the best hiking and biking trails in Marin County. Split bunk "rooms" great for kids and teens. Small patio with table and chairs. Mini-split AC, and high-speed Internet. Dedicated downtown parking space in driveway footsteps away from coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, boutiques. Come enjoy this unique towns food, drink and live music! Washer/dryer shared with other side of duplex.

Super convenient

This was our secondary at the property, as we have family living right down the street. It is easy and pleasant to walk everywhere in town.

Thanksgiving in Fairfax

Met our expectations. Only negative comments are that it took a LONG time to get hot water in the kitchen, the flow was weak, and we felt like we wasted a lot of water waiting for it to heat. Would have liked more of a regular coffee and tea selection. Otherwise everything was fine.

Cute place in a walkable location, perfect for families

Our family, especially my 6-year-old, loved staying in this adorable duplex for a quiet New Year's holiday weekend, literally steps away from downtown Fairfax. The host responded promptly to all of our inquiries. It's not a huge place but it's well designed and feels bigger than it is! The bunk beds in the mini rooms are really fun and surprisingly comfy. The mattress and pillows in the primary bedroom were also very comfortable. We were there on a rainy weekend, so it was great that they had so many streaming channels to choose from on the TV, and we spent a good chunk of time playing with the Ms. Pac Man arcade and the board games too, as we did not do as much outdoor exploring as initially planned. We did get one sunny day, and chose to drive out to Point Reyes to see the elephant seals, the lighthouse, and the beaches, a little over an hour away from the house (and the drive itself is lovely), though there are also plenty of things to see and places to hike closer by. The town is small, but they have some great dining options, all within an easy walking distance. We would definitely recommend this place for a small group or family! We truly enjoyed our stay.

Thoughtful and Cozy

Downtown on Dominga is a cozy and thoughtfully curated place to stay near downtown Fairfax. The hosts are very attentive and have thoughtful features throughout the house like nutrigrain bars in the coffee bar, a step stool for kids and comfy blankets for watching tv. The location is not only walking distance to downtown Fairfax but also a very fun and kid-approved park. We will definitely stay at Downtown on Dominga again!

Jimmy and Mandy here. Fairfaxians to the core, we enjoy spending time downtown as well as out in nature that is so easily accessible here. As parents of teens and a baby, we understand the need for quick service and communication when it comes to staying at a host location. We aim to provide an open dialogue, privacy, and overall just a really comfortable trip when you stay in our home. Living close by, we are able to accommodate speedy service if ever in need, so we encourage our guests to reach out at anytime with questions, concerns or extra provisions. Dominga Avenue is settled perfectly along the main streets of Downtown Fairfax. This home is a stones throw to restaurants, bars, boutiques, and coffee shops. From here you can also take a quick walk to the movie theatre, the creek, or take a short bike ride to the hiking and biking trails of Deer Park. Deer Park Villa which is an event venue is only 0.5 miles away.
