Summary:

The Blue Fig is a wonderful beach house for the family that shares the property with Bee Happy Cottage. We are pet friendly including a fenced-in yard, parking and all the modern conveniences. The Blue Fig is part of the Turtle Getaways collection of premier vacation properties.



The Space:

The Blue Fig, a circa 1910 home, has been renovated adding central air conditioning throughout the home, washer/dryer, dishwasher, new range and microwave as well as refrigerator. The added countertop bar is a great place for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The open concept living area has 2 lounge chairs that double as twin beds in addition to a spacious sectional facing the wall mounted TV. The dining area easily accommodates 8 people. There is one designated parking spot on the property and a fenced-in yard. The Blue Fig shares the yard with Bee Happy Cottage. The Blue Fig and Bee Happy Cottage can be rented together for a shared vacation experience with friends and family. The yard has a shared grill, outdoor table, chairs and umbrella for outdoor dining. Your reservation includes linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach cart and an umbrella. There is also an outdoor shower to ensure you have a place to wash off the sand. One and a half blocks to the beach and boardwalk is the perfect location for your summer vacation.



Guest Access:

Guests will be provided with a unique door code prior to check-in. In addition, the property manager, Denise, greets all our guests to acquaint them with the property.



The Neighborhood:

The Blue Fig is in a family friendly neighborhood one and a half blocks to the beach and boardwalk.



Getting Around:

The Blue Fig is in walking distance to restaurants, amusements rides on the boardwalk, and to the beach. We are a short drive to Cape May and other shore communities.



Other Things to Note:

There is a $50 per pet per stay fee. If you have more than one pet a separate invoice will be issued.

Note: The reservation fee collected at the time of booking is non-refundable.

Charming home with everything we needed for a nice getaway. We loved chilling on the front porch. Great location near the boardwalk and restaurants. Fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs. Highly recommend. Denise was a great host!

This is a wonderful little house! My husband and I stayed with our three boys aged 15, 11, & 6. We had plenty of space. It was easy to walk to the beach/boardwalk, and it was convenient that they had beach carts, chairs, and umbrellas to use (we did not have room to bring these items with us). Umbrella was very small (1-2 people max). The house was fairly clean; there was some pet hair around the floor and we found a dog bone under the sofa. Also, coffee grounds were left in the coffee maker, and most cups & plates looked dirty so we had to wash everything before (and after) use. There was adequate paper towels & toilet paper & dish detergent, but not for the auto dishwasher so we just did them by hand. I would recommend a Keurig, and an air fryer. We used the grill; it was great. Outdoor shower has hot water too, so that was a plus. I would recommend a couple drying racks in the closets, as we had to get creative with hangers to dry towels/swimwear. The linens were good quality, but I did not like the mattress (husband did as he prefers firm) and the pillows are very thin so if you're picky I'd bring your own along. The wifi was great, and the AC was cold enough. It is obvious this older home is well cared for, and tastefully decorated. Denise was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & would book this house again!

Wonderful location and the house has everything you need for a great vacation. The property manager was delightful and always available if needed. The yard is shared with the house in the back and would make a fantastic joint rental for larger groups. A definite gem in Wildwood!!

Great Location

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing.

Nice but small

We really enjoyed our stay here. The dining area and kitchen were wonderful. The living room was small and the sleeping areas were a bit misleading. This place sleeps six comfortably in the bedrooms. Our boys slept on the chairs in the dining area. There

We loved the house!!

The house was wonderful! Very clean, well maintained, perfect shore house. Location is great- close to the boards and the beach. Quiet street, friendly neighbors. Property manager was wonderful. Great place to stay for a family. Will definitely rent again for a Wildwood vacation!!

Very nice place! Close to the beach and boardwalk. Manager Denise answered my questions in a second. Having your own parking place is priceless! My only recommendation for the owners is to install more wall outlets. We had a lot of fun, thank you!

Wonderful Weekend

No complaints the entire weekend!! Host was very easy to reach whenever needed and check in was hassle-free. Location of the house was great - easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. House was very clean and comfortable! Definitely would return in the future!

Great stay in Wildwood

We had a very nice day at the house. It was clean and very convenient to have all the towels and sheets at the property. The property manager was very nice and communicative. The location was great near the beach and the boardwalk. My only suggestion would be to get curtains for the bedrooms upstairs as the sun was very bright in the early mornings. Thanks for a great stay!

Comfy, clean, and dog friendly centrally located

The blue fig is a charming cottage in a great location. It’s full of amenities, spotless, and within walking distance to everything. The property manager is very nice and communicative - she even offered to bring us extra beach toys for the kids. We loved sitting on the front porch and hanging in the fenced side yard. Super dog friendly - make sure to check out the dog beach! Would rent it next time along with the bee cottage.

Family vacation 10/10

The house was exactly as described. Checking in was a breeze , Denise was super nice and made our check in process super easy .Absolutely the best first experience at Wildwood . Our family would definitely rent here again and knowing now that they had a well stocked shed for enjoying the beach we wouldn’t need to bring all the stuff we had . Less packing is definitely A plus for a family vaca.

Wonderful Find!

My husband and I spent a long weekend here with my brother-in-law and his wife. It’s delightful!! The beds are comfortable, the space is clean and all in it feels like a home. The chairs and beach buggy were a delight to rent. Our only mistake was not staying longer!!!!
