Tucked away at the end of a quiet road, this private 1.5 acre property offers the ultimate escape on the banks of Big Four Slough with water on 3 sides and direct access to the majestic Caddo Lake. Whether you’re planning a weekend fishing trip, a family getaway, or a quiet nature retreat, this spot is the perfect base. Enjoy your morning coffee in the gazebo, launch a kayak for a peaceful paddle, or cruise just a minute down the water to Big Cypress Bayou and 5 minutes to Big Pines Lodge. If you’re bringing a boat, you can launch at the public ramp at the Hwy 43 bridge and dock it at your own private covered slip right at the house. Plenty of space for multiple guests, vehicles and boats/trailers.

Great holiday weekend

Our family had a great time and really enjoyed the water access and kayaks! Jefferson is a cute town nearby, and we had fun shopping there, as well.

Caddo lake photography

We love this house very much. It is big, updated, and clean. The house is very close to the Caddo lake state park. It was very conveniently to access caddy lake state park with 3 kayaks in the early morning for photography.

We liked it so much last year that we came back

We were fishing Caddo Lake. Outside has room to park the boat and convenient power for charging the batteries. Inside is roomy, clean and modern.

Sisters weekend

Great place to stay. Overall excellent. The only problem we ran into was a broken recliner in one end of the sofa and the TV didnt let us tune in the LSU/ARKANSAS game.

Like a friend prepared their home for your visit

Our family really loved this place. Quiet location kind of on a peninsula with the bayou wrapping around 3 sides. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was great. And the yard.... So lovely. We had a little campfire (all set up when we arrived - basically, just had to light it which was appreciated!), and one of our boys was totally delighted to find S'more sticks and supplies just waiting for him. The kayaks were great, too. Comfy and ready to go. We paddled down to the state park for a picnic, stopping to fish along the way. And she left fishing poles, life jackets, bikes, games.... It was really like visiting a friend's home. Thoughtful touches - like a few blankets for the unexpected chill while I sat on the porch listening to the rain. Our hostess was also quick to respond when we had questions. We'd like to come and stay again. It was beautiful, restful, and welcoming. Thank you!!!

Perfect Little Spot!

This is a perfect spot near Caddo! We loved sitting outside by the fire while our boys explored and fished.

Perfect for our Family Fishing Trip

Very clean and updated property. The yard was a bit of a tight squeeze to maneuver our bassboat and truck, but workable. Convenient to the boat launches, and an easy drive to restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Back to Caddo Lake

The property itself was awesome. Very clean, updated internally, fans in every room, great AC, very close to the Hwy 43 bridge area and public boat ramp.

Lake Weekend

Had a great time staying in the swampy area of the Caddo Lake. This is an amazing location and lake- very different from a typical Texas lake. The home is very nice and spacious- with all needed amenities for a comfortable stay and enjoyable trip to the lake.

Beautiful, clean, well-appointed home. 5 minutes from CADDO State Park, on the creek, with connection to the main lake via kayaks or boat. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay, with all the comforts of home!!

Perfect Place For Caddo

We had a great time at this cabin. There is a waterway to use the kayaks (all suppled) that you can peacefully row without worrying about getting hit by a boat. So beautiful to go through the cypress trees! The house was clean and comfortable. We have been to Caddo before, but this is by far the best place yet. We will be back.
