Quaint and peaceful 1 bedroom cottage in delightful, de-lovely, DeLand, Florida. Steps away from Stetson University and the downtown shops, restaurants and boutiques. 18 miles to Daytona, 24 miles to New Smyrna Beach, 40 miles to Orlando. Often quoted as "The Real Florida", this artsy and historic town offers many fresh clear water springs for kayaking and manatee viewing. The perfect place for a couple and also offers a comfortable fold out couch for 1-2 extra guests. Wonderful outdoor patio and all the comforts of home! PLEASE NOTE: The maximum time this property is offered per guest is 2 weeks.

Location was centrally located for many places to visit.

We enjoyed sitting on the porch and walking in the neighborhood. Place was clean. We would love to rent again in the future.

Wonderful stay!

The home is absolutely beautiful! We spent time looking at all of the decor on the walls. Each piece was given its own unique charm.The attention to detail was so helpful. If I had any questions, I was able to look at the binder. Perfect place for a stay.

Great experience

We had great days in this charming old cottage. Very clean, easy to communicate with the host and is exavtly as showned in the pictures. Very calm and secure location close to Stetson University. We will book again!

Perfect “Stay - Cation” Location for Floridians

Was a perfect getaway.Deland is a cute town with “stuff” to do.Plenty of restaurants, shops, etc.Quick access to great nature sites.Place was cute, clean and everything a couple would need for a little getaway.

Gem of a place

What a unique experience to enjoy the "Crowned Cottage". It was very charming, cozy, and restful. It is very clean and lots of options to enjoy the outside areas. We had great communication with the owner. The place is very centralized and easy to walk to several places of importance. It is a short drive to downtown but so easy. Highly recommend this as a great base to enjoy the many springs and trails of this area.

What a perfect place to be close to downtown and Stetson which were the 2 things I was looking for. It is an adorable cottage and came with everything needed. I would absolutely stay again.

Property is great. Perfect for a couple or couple with one or two children. I say this because the bathroom is an on suite so if someone is sleeping on the fold out, they have to go through the master bedroom. Just something to be aware of.

Delightful DeLand Crowned Cottage

This was our 2nd time renting this property and it’s just the perfect place!! It feels like home. You can just sense that this place is the owner’s “ Happy Place”. It oozes charm and character. The front covered porch is a great place to read, drink a glass of wine or just relax. The large livingroom/dining room is bright and airy. The king bed is super comfortable. There’s a washer/dryer on site. If you are ever in DeLand this is THE place to stay at!!! I promise you that you won’t be disappointed. The Crowned Cottage is a ROYAL gem!

Love this cottage!

Everything was wonderful at this cozy property. The house and its enchanting decor are sublime, and spic and span! Whatever we needed was well provided for; the host has thought of every detail. We felt very welcomed. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, despite being within walking distance to the main street and university. Would love to stay here again!

The perfect everything….

Perfect cottage, perfect host, perfect location! I recommend staying here highly! I would give it 10 stars if I could. It is the perfect house for a couple to get away to. We will definitely be coming back.

Great little place.

The host was great in letting me know what needed to be done as this was my first time using this type of app. The property was very comfortable and we enjoyed the stay. The host had a great list of places to visit n eat. Had a great time at the springs just walking around and downtown Deland and the shops were great.

great weekend getaway

this little cottage was perfect in every way. so stylish in decoration, comfortable bed, and the host thought of everything we could want for our comfort. the location was convenient and close to shopping and dining. 100% recommend this lovely cottage to anyone looking for a homey and relaxing get away.

Cozy house, excellent location, accommodating host

This little cottage is clean, quaint, and cozy. It's a short and pleasant walk to campus and to downtown. Karen was very accommodating to our needs, and the check-out list was reasonable. We will happily book here again!

Everything about the Crowned Cottage is wonderful!

The Crowned Cottage was an amazing place to stay. I am picky about cleanliness; this cottage is super clean! We enjoyed ourselves and everything about the place. We were very comfortable staying in this sweet home. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. We would love to stay here again.

The Cottage is very nice. It is well cared for and had all the amenities you could need for a short stay. It is also nicely furnished and decorated (we've been in ones that are so cluttered that you can barely move - this was not the case here. It was very stylish and comfortable). It is about 1/2 a mile from the main street area of shops and restaurants for an easy drive or walk. It is only a block or so from Stetson which would make it very convenient if that is the reason for the visit.

Adorable cottage

This property was extremely adorable! It's a shame or was just me there, because my wife would have loved it. It's very cozy and romantic and would be for a couples getaway. Karen, the owner, was very kind as well and went above and beyond for me. If you're looking to stay in the area, I highly recommend this property!

The Crowned Cottage is my home away from home when it's not being shared with others, and I love it's quaintness and ideal location.

It is the perfect small historic cottage, in a most special town. Home to the beautiful Stetson University, the cottage allows you to walk downtown and enjoy the wonderful shops and restaurants, and also be close enough for other excursions such as Orlando, New Smyrna Beach and Daytona. While this area is well known for it's theme parks and attractions, there is so much more to explore! Central Florida is called "The Real Florida" because of its vast nature! There are more than 700 freshwater springs within it's boundaries. It is a kayaker's HEAVEN! During the winter months you can get up close and personal with the manatees that flock into Blue Springs Park which is just about 5 miles away. It is an experience like no other. If I am in town when you stay, inquire about my "Manatee Mingle" experience for two. I can provide the kayaks, and a manatee facts talk along with a champagne lunch! $150 per person.
