There is a large back porch and grilling area for smoking, if you smoke in the house you will loose your refundable damage deposit.
please put all bed sheets in washer (do not turn on), put durty dishes is dish washer and turn it on. Take garbage out and put is garbage can.

Very clean, comfortable home in a nice quiet neighborhood. My husband and I are very picky about beds and the mattress didn't leave us missing our bed at home. I loved the nostalgic feel of the property as well. The feel of the home reminded me of spending the night at my grandparents as a child, it helped that ache I've felt for that feeling for several years now! We'll absolutely book this home on future visits to the area.

Relaxing getaway

My mom and I absolutely loved our stay at Cara's place. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The screened in patio was great for relaxing. We didn't want to leave!

We wanted to visit Biketoberfest so I looked for a place far enough away from the crowds of that event. The house was clean and comfortable. The property was exactly what we wanted as well. It’s minutes from everything you need but while at the house it feels like you’re out in the country somewhere. We fished and cooked out and enjoyed the lake and view. I loved the garage so I could store my Harley in it at night time.
The biggest we caught from the dock.
A good way to spend the evening!

The host was fantastic on every level. Very quick to respond to questions. Property was very clean and the back yard with the lake is a hidden gem. It was perfect for what we needed it for. If we have a chance to stay again we will in a heartbeat!

Bungalow sweet Bungalow!

The house was so cute and cozy! Great spot with so much to explore yet perfectly cut back to get some peace. Springs, fishing, wildlife and a little drive to the beach. Lake right out back for fishing and kayaking! The owners are so sweet and caring. They made us feel welcome and at home.Thank you again we hope to be back!

Perfect house for our vacation

Perfect property in a great location. The owners are great and we will be renting again on our next trip. The house is in a great location with just a short drive to downtown. It is in a quite neighborhood with a beautiful view of the lake from the screen porch. You won’t be disappointed if you are looking for a quite, comfortable place to spend your vacation in Deland!

Nice Location

The house exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable, my girlfriend’s son enjoyed fishing in the lake. Close to everywhere we needed to go. Quiet in the evening. To me a 10 out of 10 to stay.

Great House

Fantastic home, well maintained and kept. Decor is wonderful, a multitude of games to keep the family engaged and having fun- more games than you can play. Foosball the best. Very comfy and quiet house and neighborhood. You can tell the Owners enjoy owning the property, . Would highly recommend.

Peaceful

Cara, we enjoyed the comfort and peaceful surroundings of your charming cottage. This property is clean, bright, peaceful and the beds are comfortable. The minute you walk in you feel at home. The screened porch is very relaxing to view the lake and enjoy the wildlife (ducks, herons). The landscaping adds a beautiful tropical appeal. Photos don’t do it justice! Beautiful home and property!

The owners need to update the photos posted because this home is beautiful and the property is beautiful as well! Loved having coffee on the enclosed back porch looking at Lake Molly every morning so much so that I came home and scheduled someone to build me a porch like theirs! Also, and this is always what deserves 5 stars, is the beds!!! They are so comfy and pillows were not too soft and not too hard they were perfect! The town of DeLand is great too! Their downtown area is really great to walk around in! I would definitely recommend this home and would love to stay here again!

Fantastic

The home was perfect. With the weather being in the 70's, low 80's having the option to sit out back in the screened in porch, or on the dock above the pond was nice. I really could live there year round. I have zero complaints, and communication with the owners was spot on. Being on a dead end street, it was quiet as can be, yet everything you could need ( Publix, Walmart, restaurants etc,) are all less than 3 miles away. If you rent this house, trust me, you wont be disappointed!

The "Lakehouse" was awesome! Everything is as shown in the pictures - beautiful and comfortable furnishings and decorations, ample towels and linens provided, new appliances, jon boat and paddle boat, and a view of the lake that was wonderful! We enjoyed sitting in the screened porch, fishing from the dock, and watching the lake birds and geckos! The home is away from the hustle and bustle, but close to Daytona and New Smyrna Beach. Cara was so friendly and responded to our questions quickly. We were so lucky to meet her - she is great! Thank you so much - we had a wonderful and relaxing time!

An incredibly comfortable lake house, well-equipped and situated on a lake teeming with nature. Really enjoyed watching a night rocket launch from the dock. This is not your typical VRBO property bought to be a rental, this is clearly their personal retreat that the owners are willing to share. We felt very welcomed.
