The house was clean and newly renovated, and the backyard being on a small lake was really beautiful. We spent time on the spacious screen porch enjoying the view. Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. Close to amenities and an easy drive to Blue Springs state park. We enjoyed our stay and will likely be back.

Lovely and peaceful. We visited for a weekend mini-break. The property is refreshed and very nicely remodeled. The house was sparkling clean and well appointed with everything we needed. We appreciated the many welcoming touches — beautiful kitchen, quality linens, coffee station — that made us all feel at home.

Beautiful little home with gorgeous views of the lake in the back yard. The amenities were spot on. We will more then likely try and return on our nxt stay in the area.

We've been living in Florida for over 40 years. My husband was born and raised in Baltimore. He is a Vietnam veteran. I was raised as an Air force brat by my father. My family is in Springfield MO. Being a host is new to us, but we tried to set up the house to feel like a real home during your visit. We hope people are gentle with their criticism because we do take it seriously, and plan to listen to all suggestions.

We have lived in the area for many years, and when our friends moved to Lake Helen we fell in love with the community. We love the century old homes and lakes. We bought this house and remodeled it for it to be our future home. So it has been a work of love. Watching the birds and wildlife gather around the lake is so beautiful. Even the large otter has been a story in itself!

Since we haven't visited the other properties, I don't know if we are unique. We just feel you will be comfortable and feel like home when you stay with us!
