Love this place. Want to come back with spouse to stay and do lots of fishing. They day trip to Captiva was fun island girl excursions very nice

Great Escape !

We were lucky to have found this gem ! Charity, the property manager was proficient and friendly - her number one priority was the comfort of all guests. Our accommodations in the Snook Suite were more than adequate and well stocked with plenty of pots, pans and dishes. As there was no cable, we were thrilled with the opportunity to enjoy some peace and quiet on the deck with the other guests. It was a great chance to meet and enjoy the company of some great people from Germany and Canada. The grill on the deck was perfect for some spring time grilling - I don't know what it was but the fresh Florida street corn we made was some of the best Our suite was clean, comfortable and well attended. It was clear that our hosts number one priority was our peace of mind. The small pontoon boat that was available for rent was reasonable and relaxing. It was an easy process that included instruction and review with an extremely pleasant and experienced local - Gene. He was patient and thorough and made sure we understood the waterways, local rules and was able to give us some great insight as to how to get the most out of our day. This will be a must return for another great escape!

Property was bright, clean, and decorated nicely. Only issues were the fact that the internet cut in and out frequently, especially in the evenings and larger pots, baking dishes would have nice. Sitting on the dock was awesome and you are in walking distance of restaurants and shops. Other guests were really nice

Nice time.

Cute little place. Nice dock where my husband fished. Many of the mini blinds were broken and it was a little strange walking around with blinds that people could see in. Other than that it was fine.

Cute Place!

This places was very clean and well taken care of. I would recommend people rent a car if they stay here as there is not a ton to do on the island. We ended up spending a lot on Ubers to get to places. There is not much to walk to on the island and most places close at 7 or 9 PM. I was surprised that the premises did not include some basic items that I assumed would be there: hand soap, paper towels, facial tissue were NOT there. I was bummed to see a Keurig but no complimentary k cups provided. There is NO convenience stores on or close to the island so I was not able to buy those items for my use easily. I would make it clear that those items are not included, even for a short 4 day stay...or provide them since they are not easy items to obtain on the island. Other than that, we loved the place and really enjoyed staying there. We would totally stay there again.

Schöne Unterkunft abseits vom Trubel.

Sehr nette Unterkunft abseits von Stränden, aber direkt am Wasser. Ideal für Angler! Das Studio ist ansprechend eingerichtet und sauber. Die Terasse am Wasser und die Sitz-und Grillmöglichkeiten sind super. Und Matlacha ist ein gemütliches Künstlerdorf mit einigen schönen Restaurants. Alles sehr relaxt auf der Insel. Ich würde jederzeit wieder für ein paar Tage dort bleiben.
