Beautiful 4-season family home in a quiet neighborhood with your private dock and direct access to the water; perfect for unplugging and resting for families and friends looking to gather and make memories year-around!

This lakeside house is located on Chestnut Pond, a tranquil, relaxed, family-friendly pond perfect for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and fishing. The house sleeps four (4), featuring sought-after amenities, including a deck, a grill, and kayaks.

Free WiFi, washer & dryer, elevated waterfront deck, patio, private water frontage, private dock, floating dock, kayaks, life vests, fire pit, (firewood not provided) gas grill, outdoor dining area, closed-in shed, and more!

Indoors the house has two floors of living space, kitchen, one bathroom, an open concept dining room and living room with a Smart TV, a beautiful sunroom with lake views, one bedroom, and a loft. The house is fully equipped with cooking basics, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, dishware/flatware (no dishwasher), spices, linens, towels, detergent, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, hangers, trash bags, paper towels, numerous parking spots, a doorbell exterior front/side doors security cameras, and rear-facing security camera for security purposes.

A quick 20-minute drive will get you to Bear Brook State Park, Northwood Meadows State Park, or Graylag Nature Reserve; great eateries, an excellent fresh food market and brewery are only 7-minutes away.

The home was very clean and so organized. It felt inviting and warm. It was so easy to check in. We used the passcode that was provided. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. We loved our stay and highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with a nice view of the pond.

Wonderful quiet stay

This is a great little get away location. The pond neighborhood is quiet and everything is well maintained. Squirrel friends to watch gather nuts and ducks to calm the soul.

Excellent 10/10!!

We had an amazing 2 nights away with our kids. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. We felt right at home. We spent our 2 days fishing and sitting by the lake. John was extremely easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly to the few questions we had. We highly recommend this place and look forward to renting it out in the near future.

Great winter cabin

Such a lovely house - clean, cute, cozy & welcoming. The beds were all amazing! Frozen pond made it look like a winter wonderland outside through the big windows. Easy to find the house and roads were clear.

Great hosts! Great place!

We wanted a get away for spending some time with our grandkids ages 4 & 6 and this was perfect! Beautiful location and the house is in excellent shape with everything you need. John and Celeste were very responsive and very friendly. Great pond and had a blast swimming with the kids. Would love to return!

Chestnut Pond Cottage

We had a very good stay at this Cottage. It smelled really good as soon as you walked in. The whole place was super clean and very tidy. The cottage had evrything you could need. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and from our boat. We caught some bass and a catfish. We cooked red hotdogs over the campfire! I would not hesitate to stay there again.,

4th of July

We had a splendid time at this great property. The boys spent most of the time in the lake! They loved the paddle board and kajaks. The house is cute and the kitchen is well equipped. Towels and linens were provided as well as all the small stuff like cleanser shampoo and co! BBQ was easy on the porch and s’mores were made in the fire pit. The lake is small, no jet skis and very quiet. We had WiFi, TV, and the play station was used by teenagers. Most surprising was the beautiful pond life. We spotted a pair of loons, and a several swallowtails. We had a great time and hope to be able to return!

Such a gem!

This is such a beautiful, cozy, home. The hosts are tremendous and thought of literally anything. They even saved us when we got locked out at the crack of dawn due to my stupidity lol. Cannot say enough good things. The house was super clean and have everything you could ever want. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Perfect!

This place worked out perfectly! Super quiet, relaxing, very well thought out amenities. The back yard fire pit and dock made an awesome spot to unwind. The water was clear and refreshing. Honestly the pictures don’t do this place justice. Johns communication was awesome, I’d definitely recommend this place. Can’t thank you enough for a seamless quick getaway. Best, Greg

Epsom relaxation

It took me a bit to write this review because, in some way, it was hard to accept that the trip was over. But after some time to allow the feeling of being lakeside with a view that would most likely never leave our minds to sit in our minds, I can honestly say that it has been framed within them so as to bring us a smile, the same kind we had waking up there in the mornings when we had the pleasure of staying there! The house is an absolute dream come true, and everything, from the beautiful hammock outside to the amenities in the kitchen and restrooms that we needed to make this trip as comfortable as possible! The owner was very responsive whenever we had a question, and we wouldn't think twice about recommending this place to anyone looking for an absolutely unforgettable time! 11 out of 10 stars!!

Peaceful & Cozy

The pictures do not do it justice! Me and my two girlfriends enjoyed a mom's weekend away and were more than pleased. Everything was super clean, the lake was so quiet and peaceful, the beds were super cozy and the front porch area was a great spot to hang out with a perfect view of the lake. We will most definitely be back for the next girls trip!

Great getaway

We had an amazing week at the lake! John and Celeste were awesome and went above and beyond for us since we were there during a heat wave. They were quick to respond to any all questions. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The lake was clear, we swam, fished, and kayaked all day. My teenagers took to the 2nd floor large loft area and loved their own space.
