Hamilton Cove Villa 8-94

Unwind and enjoy the spectacular ocean views from this beautifully appointed villa. Relax on one of the two balconies looking over the Pacific; the side balcony is private and has a propane BBQ. Just a quick walk to the pool, spa, gym and croquet court! There are only 7 steps to the road!!The washer/dryer are conveniently located in a small laundry room just outside the front door of the villa.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 people / Bedroom 1: King bed | Living Room: Futon Sleeper

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables).

NO smoking, NO parties/events.
NO PETS ($300/day fine) allowed per HOA rules.

You must be 25+ years old to rent this property. No daytime visitors allowed.

Great condo. Views from wrap around balcony were spectacular. We spent a lot of time watching the ocean. You can walk down to small beach with Palapas on sand Only problem is shades in bedroom cannot block out east facing sunrise. You have to get up with the sunrise.

This property was wonderful! Amazing views! It had a nice starter of paper towels, toilet paper, and I love that the owner allows spices and coffee etc that is left by previous renters to stay for next guests. The bed was super comfortable, the furnishings were very nice and the decor was beautiful. Getting to fall asleep to the sounds of the waves was wonderful too. Also, having a washer and dryer was an added bonus for us. Highly recommend this property.

The property was immaculate and as advertised, and the balconies and bedroom windows face the East….allowing an amazing sunrise view every time!!Additionally, the updated golf cart proved invaluable and was awesome during daytime and nighttime excursions…. Would rent again 15 out of 10 times.

Hamilton cove is an out of the way quiet place to stay during the bustle of a summer day in catalina. We are long distance swimmers and love swimming from hamilton cove, past descanso beach to the casino dive park and back. The condo is a beautiful quiet setting.

The "only 7 steps" to the road was important for us and this condo was good in that regard. It was clean and well maintained. Response time from the management company was excellent. We only had a few simple questions during our stay and replies came quickly. Beautiful view from the deck, but the HOA restrictions made use of it less than we would have liked. Rules and rules, I guess, so we followed them. The complex is a short cart drive from town and most Catalina Island activities. We found that was a good thing as the crowds swelled as the weekend approached and it was nice to get away from the hubbub. The Hamilton Cove development is not new, but this condo is wearing its age well. We would certainly stay here again.

Stayed here to work remotely for a week. Everything was great. View was amazing. Short ride to the town. Really appreciated only a few steps to the unit.

Beautiful

The only thing that needs to be addressed is transportation when getting off the ferry, we had to wait 45 minutes and got lucky and ride shared with another family. You would think that the Taxi companies would know when the ferries came in and have multiple vehicles ready, but they didn’t.

Lovely!

Spacious! Even nicer in person. The views from the oversized balcony were fabulous. You cannot beat only having 7 steps to the unit! Golf cart is brand new and works great. Super wonderful bldg location right next to the amenities center...can just walk to pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. We loved playing tennis and mini golf in the neighborhood. Hamilton Cove could use some new rackets as what they have is pretty old...but for our novice family what they had worked. Bed was comfy. Kids weren't too excited about the futon (said it was too hard and cold)so they ended up sleeping on the couch which they said was very comfy. Overall beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

The View is unforgettable! Condo is nice and clean, bed was too soft for us and some things needed updating but overall is very good experience. Golf cart is huge plus for staying at Hamilton Cove villas. Town is charming with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We will definitely be back.
