Enjoy 120 acres of an award-winning permaculture demonstration site in the high desert of SW Colorado located immediately adjacent to great hiking in Canyon of the Ancients National Monument. With spectacular views of Mesa Verde National Park, the Rockies of San Juan National Forest and the Sleeping Ute Mountain, you will gain new insights into the quote "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help!" Also, just 20 miles from the Mesa Verde National Park entrance. With a covered outdoor kitchen and patio that is ideal for lounging and socializing you should find this to be the perfect basecamp for all the region has to offer.

Enchanting off the grid experience!

We had a fantastic time at this eco ranch, and Kathy made us feel instantly at home. The accommodations were wonderfully comfortable and simple, set in a gorgeous landscape that is Kathy and Bob’s 120 acres of property. We loved the emphasis on sustainability, and Kathy’s tour she gave of the property was both interesting and inspiring. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, and the outdoor kitchen was a fun feature. And we became fast friends with Lily the dog and Lynxy the cat. This was exactly the kind of unique experience we were looking for, and it completely complemented our visits to Mesa Verde and the Four Corners region. We are all trying to figure out how to get back to the ranch soon. Thanks Kathy and Bob!

Heaven

If you want a get away from the masses, this is the place. Open skies, mountain views, and simplicity. Kathy and Bob, are amazing with great stories to tell. Four legged residents will make you feel right at home. After my stay, I could not keep myself from thinking of a more organic lifestyle.

I am a premier host with 2 other BNBs on my property that are all 5 star rated by guests on multiple BNB sites. Our reviews tend to be from people we have extensive interaction with to the point of socializing with them at the beginning and/or end of their day. We have other guests who are more desirous of privacy and that works too.

My husband and I have been developing an award-winning permaculture homestead. If you are not familiar with Permaculture the best and quickest definition is that permaculture seeks The Garden of Eden...and why not! Come join us amidst land that is being transformed from marginal to magnificent!
