Beeswax Park is a great choice for a family on vacation. This lovely home offers a wide variety of fun at the house and around it. With four bedrooms there is plenty of room to spread out, relax, and make memories on your beach vacation. Head upstairs and you will find that it is an open living area with lots of natural light from the large picture windows and vaulted ceilings. Walk out onto the large deck and enjoy the sunshine or cuddle up on the comfy couches in the living room. There are two bedrooms upstairs - one with puzzles and lots of board games to enjoy and the main bedroom with a crib. The hall bathroom has a tub/shower. Downstairs features two additional bedrooms. The second bathroom has a tub/shower and a large laundry room with a washer/dryer. Retreat to the garage where you will find bikes, sand toys, sports balls, a Ping-Pong table, and a shuffleboard table. Beeswax Park has a fantastic location for anyone that wants to enjoy everything the city has to offer - it is just two blocks to the beach, half a block to the City Park, and a quick walk into town to enjoy the shops and restaurants.

This home will have a seasonal gas grill that is generally available from May through September, depending on inclement weather.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great house; great location

This house was perfect for our family reunion. The playground was just around the corner, and the beach or downtown area mere blocks away. We hope to return to this place again next year!

Spacious vacation house - big deck - 3 blocks to beach, 3 blocks to town

Lots of space in this 4 bedroom house for us all to unwind and truly relax. Comfy sofas inside. Lots of deck chairs and tables to enjoy the sun and shade outside. Just what we needed of dishes, pans, coffee maker, etc.

The house was acceptable but pretty rough around the edges. Exterior and decks need some TLC. Game room was not useable-ping pong table with 6 dented balls. Shuffle board used beach sand. Good location and quiet neighborhood. It worked for us and our dogs.

Great location!

This house had everything that we needed… Basic things in the kitchen. Had a dishwasher and washer and dryer so that was great. Loved how there is two bedrooms and a bath on the lower floor and two bedrooms and a bath on the upper floor. Location was fantastic!

Great house. Great location. Great times.

This house was just right for our group of friends and kiddos. Even on a rainy beach day there was space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves or easily wander into town. There’s nothing unusual about this beach rental, nothing to scream excitedly about, no super duper luxury, but it’s straightforward, comfortable enough, equipped enough, what you expect and hope for in a simple straightforward great get-away. We had a great time and would return.

The house was perfect for our family with grand parents, kids, and dogs! Just a few blocks to the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of extra blankets and towels. Very clean. Vacasa was wonderful helping us with a relocation after a problem with another rental. Very thankful!

A wonderful retreat

An escape from the Texas heat. Our stay was dreamy. Only drawback was a turned up edge (tripping hazard for little one) on a rug. We just rolled the rug up and put it away. Also wish there had been an instruction book with the place, and a few cleaning supplies. Otherwise, it’s fabulous and we would definitely come again!

Great home for family getaway in Manzanita

This home is in a great location near the shops on Laneda but close to nature and just a short walk to the beach. We saw deer on our morning walks. Comfortable beds in the upstairs rooms, we didn't use the downstairs except for laundry and ping pong. Living area is spacious and kitchen had the essentials. The deck is a great place to sit with a cup of coffee and listen to the ocean with a view Neahkahnie mountain. Vacasa was very responsive to our report of a beeping alarm. The local staff came and took care of it and we didn't have to worry about it again. 100% satisfied with our choice of vacation home and we can't wait to return. We'd absolutely visit Beeswax Park again.

Love the location!

We enjoyed this property and our stay overall. The location is excellent and it was pet friendly, which was a must for our family. The kitchen and dining setup is very small for a larger group, so something for guests to be aware of. We were a group of 8 and couldn’t all sit around a table for a meal together, as the dining only seated 4. Also, there was a heat wave during our stay, which unfortunately made the upstairs fairly uncomfortable due to lack of air conditioning and poor ventilation, even with all the fans going. The property is in need of updating, but is kept very clean and well-equipped. Overall, it met our needs and we would consider staying here again if traveling with dogs again.

Disappointed

I was disappointed that there was no wood stove in living room since there was one in the pictures. This became even more of an issue when the power went out for multiple days and we had to leave early due to a cold house. There also appears to be critters in the ceiling of the upstairs bedroom with crib. Not a great experience.

Will never use Vacasa again

The house was good for what we needed, but the kitchen was very small. Overall, I’m leaving a one star because the day we left I called Vacasa noting I left something behind & I had to them call a week later just to find out that the item “could not be found.” It was my Soda Stream kitchen appliance that I left right in the kitchen, but it clearly was stolen by the lady who came in and cleaned after. We saw her pull into the driveway to clean when we left, so it couldn’t have been anyone else who took it.

Great Location, and clean but somethings could be better

The Good: Overall, the home was clean, and was in a great location. You are a two minute walk from a park, and about 5-10 minutes from downtown and the beach. The porch was a big hit for our toddler to be able to run around on. There is a lot of space for everyone to spread out into. The home also had a lot of entertainment stuff that larger groups would enjoy. We would stay here again but would come more prepared with kitchen items. The Not so Good: The kitchen is missing some stuff like measuring cups, and needs to have most of the nonstick pots/pans replaced since most of them are scratched up. At least one of the burners on the stove seems to be having a problem and struggles to heat or boil water. The sliding glass door does not have the ability to be locked and there is no dowel provided to be able to prevent it from being opened, for when you are sleeping or away from the home.

Great house, great location

The house was just right for us! We spent the Thanksgiving holiday here and the house was very well stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, etc.! I brought a bunch of my own stuff because I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that I really didn’t need the things I brought. The location is perfect. A short, lovely walk to either the beach or downtown Manzanita. Our adult children brought their dogs and it was a bonus that there were sheets and towels designated for the dogs. We followed directions and didn’t mix these with the other laundry. I admit that I had lower expectations since the house is “dog-friendly” but we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and very clean! There’s a window in one lower bedroom that needs to be replaced and we’re told it’s on order. In the meantime someone came out from the rental company to do a temporary fix, so all is good. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. If anyone is interested you can definitely fit a large turkey in the oven! 😃

Great dog friendly place & close to beach

Really enjoyed our stay at this great home. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. Only recommendations: need a corkscrew and better instructions for how to work the TV / Satellite / DVD. The office was nice and sent someone to help us get it going.
