Cabin at the Beach is located one street off the main drag of downtown and one short block to the beach. This beach cabin is a real treat and is fabulous for a small family or two couples trying to escape. Picnic on the covered front porch, rain or shine or enjoy a walk downtown for coffee and donuts.

You enter into an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table for four, and a living room with smart TV (streaming only - no cable), DVD, and VCR. The main bedroom features a comfortable bed with a TV and DVD player only. The second bedroom features two beds. Walk to the city park which features a great kid playground, volleyball, basketball, and tennis court, just four short blocks away. You can't beat the price of this little gem.

This Heirloom Cabin has been in this family 50 years and they're happy to share this cabin with you!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We had our clean dog with us and all was fine. This is a great location next to downtown Manzanita. The house is not flashy but clean and functional. Perfect stay!

Don’t rent this place

This was potentially the worst rental I’ve ever experienced. From the porch with a worn out picnic table, to one chair that was probably bought for 5 bucks at a CVS and it was once white but it is no more. And it was only one. Inside the furniture was probably in vogue in the 80’s. The mattresses were serviceable. The sheets were not. The shower was the highlight. It was decent. The washing machine smelled like mold. The kitchen sink dripped unless you put the handle in just the right position. The front lawn was not cared for and there was a ripped hose just laying there. In the bedroom closets were messy and had some old ratty linens. The carpet was well worn and had ripples in it. We left a day early it was so bad. No beach chairs or anything that was helpful for a beach vacation.

Home close to beach

The house was in a great condition and well maintained but the couch and the bed could have been a little more comfortable. Other than that the house was very nice and in a great location.

Cozy stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was dated and had the basics and was a bit small for our family but it didn’t job. The location was great as it was close to the Main Street and the beach. They allow dogs and that was a plus to have ours with us. The property was clean when we arrived and the communication was great with the property manager.

Great little house to stay

If you are used to VRBO's this place is perfect. The location to the beach is just one short block walk. This was a backup rental for us, as the original place we booked had an issue. Vacasa was prompt at finding us this replacement and the check in and check out was flawless. We would highly recommend this rental and the management company for your vacation rental needs. We had an awesome vacation here.

Nice spot-not so clean

This place has the potential to be amazing! Great location, great town, great management BUT the dog friendly feature is hurting you. The place was clean but after about 1/2 hour in the place my daughter and wife began having allergic reactions. My daughter is allergic to pet dander-IF it’s bad. and, it was bad! After not so close inspection, we found pet hair/fur everywhere. It was on the bed covers, in corners of the rooms and even on my pillow. She only gets a reaction if things are bad. We ended up only staying for one night and left a day early because it was so bad. Even the Claritin wasn’t working. Besides that, the place needs a makeover big time. I’m a general contractor and I noticed issues that could be a safety concern. For instance, a couple of the cabinets are about ready to fall off the wall. The floor is vinyl plank and is coming up in places and disconnected. The deck needs a makeover and replacement and structurally will fall eventually. Not sure if it’s because of rot or what,but needs to be considered. I think this place would be super cute, justify a higher rental price and get higher ratings if a makeover happened. I’d be happy to help with that. I think with a little investment you can rectify the issues. Let me know if I can help and I’d be happy to work something out. I want to see this place a success in this gorgeous location. I highly suggest not allowing pets unless housekeeping can do a good job.

Amazing cabin!

LOVE this cabin! My family and I books this same cabin every summer! The only issue this year was that the standing lamp next to the couch didn't seem to be working, so we didn't get enough light in the living room :(. Hopefully this can be fixed by next summer ;). Other than that, we had yet another wonderful experience this year!

Location and price are great!

This place is perfectly placed, clean, and equipped with the necessities. It doesn’t have any bells and whistles but for the price, we think it’s fantastic!

Amazing location

This location was stellar and most of the house was clean. It was wonderful to have a washer/dryer. We didn’t use the kitchen much, so I can’t speak to the stove or cookware. The only downside was that sofa and mattresses were really worn. All said, we would stay there again!

This house is a great location

I really enjoyed my stay at this house. The location is the best part of this house, close to the beach and the main street with all the shops. The house itself is ok and nothing fancy at all but it works and was very clean.

Dark and dingy "cabin"

Sadly, this house doesn't look anything like the photos. It is much smaller and much darker than it appears in the photos. The furniture (except the tv stand in living room) and appliances all look like they had "free" signs on them at some point. The skinny metal blinds were cheap and damaged in a few places, adding to the disappointing overall appearance. The washer/dryer was sticking out of the closet at an angle because it doesn't fit in the closet. The front porch is very depressing... chipped grey paint, cheap and weathered plastic chair, beaten up old picnic table with old and worn out mats. Just felt dark and sad. I did appreciate the location of this rental. It was so close to the beach and to town. If I owned this I would put some money into it... (They skimped at every possible opportunity)... to make it a much nicer rental. All guests (future and past) deserve more than this. In hindsight, I wish we had left right after arrival... this cabin put a significant damper on our vacation.

Great location but...

The location of this property is exceptional. The street this property is located on is quiet with not a lot of traffic, yet it is right next to the main Manzanita strip. It is an easy walk to the beach, spa, restaurants and grocery store.

This place is just ok. Had a leak under the bathroom sink with a small bowl to catch water. Clean when we got there. No ant problem as other reviews noted. Dog friendly which is great! Mediocre mattresses and hard pillows. Could use some attention- feels like it’s been a little neglected. Easy walk to town and beach

Great Location, Poorly Appointed

House was in a great spot. But it was poorly managed/cleaned. Garbage under the beds and on the patio, yard not kept up at all. The house did not have amenities I would consider standard like toilet paper or dishwasher soap. But the house is in a wonderful location close to the beach on a quiet dead-end street. Probably would not stay at this house again though due to poor management.

Great location but very basic house

The location was amazing and Vacasa was easy to work with, but this home was not enjoyable to stay at. It lacked the basic amenities for a comfortable stay and it was hard to kick back and relax on the outdated furniture, hard sheets, thin comforter, etc. There were ants despite ant traps and a musty smell throughout. With a bit of a spruce up this place could be great. But as is, we would not recommend.
