It was great to have the entire apartment to ourselves. Very well maintained, so it feels like it's been renovated recently. The host was very responsive to our requests. We activated electric board heaters. So the rooms felt warm and comfortable. The house is located just a few minutes from the downtown. Great location.

New river gorge

The location was close to great restaurants and the entrance to the park. Several gas station's close by and an easy place to find. Good size bedrooms we were more then comfortable over our stay.

Great property for rental stay. We came down as a group to check out some waterfalls in the area so the location was fantastic. Only point of contention was the WiFi information that was shared did not work when we attempted to connect. This wasn’t much of an issue for us as we had good service in the area and didn’t spend much time in the rental.

Overall I liked it. My girlfriend not so much. My grandkids liked it also. It was very close to Hwy 60 (less than 20 feet) which made me a little nervous, but we had a great time. Check in easy. We cooked and the kitchen was good. Wi-Fi & tv worked fine.Thanks!

If you are in tight budget this is the place for you. The building is old but the owner has gone above n beyond with all the amenities with providing all the supplies. The place was very organized and clean. The service was excellent. It was a very comfortable stay and I’ll highly recommend it. Totally worth it for the price.

Just one recommendation

The apartment was on point with description. I stayed there with a couple friends. We were uncomfortable with the camera right above the door on the porch. I understand it is there for security reasons but also feel it violates privacy. We all felt uncomfortable when we came out to the porch to chat. Location is everything!

The house could be better aired before visit ( air was too heavy and smell). Airconditioning in windows was very noisy - So not able sleep over night

Slightly Disappointing

We have stayed in many, many short term rentals and although it appears that they tried, this one ranks fairly low. The outside and rear of the building are a bit shaky looking at best. Not a good first impression. Upon entering, there was pretty bad odor in two of the three bedrooms. There were very noisy, loud window units with confusing controls. It was fairly clean and nice amenities were provided but important things like a light bright enough to walk on the dark outside stairs were missing. Very close to a busy road with trucks that made it hard to sleep.
