Host was accommodating and great with communication. The house was excellent, I mean it. Very clean, bright, VERY cozy. Great kitchen, the beds were crazy comfortable. The location is excellent to be far enough away from the tourist "craziness" but close enough to be a quick drive. Close to all essentials, we totally enjoyed our stay.

I’m rating 4 stars because unfortunately during our stay there were some maintenance situations that were completely out of the owners control. Although the stay was not what we had intended, the owner was very communicative, chatting after midnight and up early in the AM. Quickly got a maintenance guy out to the house in the morning, was very quick to help us process a refund etc. also the house itself was the perfect stay. About 30 mins from the ski resort, very easy drive.

Cute, clean property stocked with everything you would need and a very comfortable bed! Close to Fayetteville for shops and restaurants (Pies and Pints was fantastic for pizza) as well as the north side of the national park. The southern points of the park are a bit of a drive but overall the location was great for visiting the park!

Very comfortable house to stay at! Cozy covered patio where we sat and had our morning coffee every morning during our stay. It was close to New River Gorge for hiking. It was a wonderful experience all around!

The Apollo Reed is a super cute home nestled in downtown Oak Hill. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with a coffee bar. For outdoor adventurers there is a room to store your gear. Stephen is very responsive to contact. There was real toilet paper- Charmin! Not something you typically get in a rental.

We took the trip to celebrate my 40th birthday, just my husband and myself. It was a great little getaway that we have already talked about renting again. It's central to a lot of different hiking areas and a great walking trail. We loved the ability to just hang out in the house, in a super quiet neighborhood, and do our own thing.

Perfect location

This property is right where you want to be. Great central location to the areas finest spots. We really enjoyed our stay in Oak Hill and the surrounding areas. It was so nice to come back to the house after a long day of adventures. It is in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you could need.

Great stay

Quiet neighborhood, convenient location to New River Gorge and Beckley. House exactly as listed, comfortable and clean. Did not cook in the kitchen, so I can't speak for how well stocked it is, but rest of the house was great.

Great location for exploring the Fayetteville section of new river gorge. While the place is generally clean, it is a bit run down. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Our biggest complaint was the mattress in the king room. It should be replaced. We had to move to the smaller room because it was too uncomfortable.

Close to lots of things to do. Could have stayed a couple more days to hike more. Very quiet house in a quiet neighborhood. Host was exceptional in returning messages promptly.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay here.The house was clean and updated with comfortable beds and furniture. It is close to lots of great outdoor adventures. The host responded to questions quickly and was so nice to leave us farm fresh eggs! We are coming to white water raft in the summer and hope to stay here again!

Quaint say in a Nice area

The check-in process was super simple and the property was beautiful. It was super easy to see the effort and detail put into the place. All the little touches were greatly appreciated. Felt like home away from home.
