This was the perfect place for our family to stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The bungalow is absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed. The views are stunning and incredibly peaceful, and being within walking distance to Lake Samish Park was a huge bonus for our family.The host truly went above and beyond. The home was decorated for Christmas which made our stay feel extra special, and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine. Every small request we had was kindly and quickly accommodated, which made our experience even better.The house was clean, cozy, and relaxing, and it felt like a true home away from home. We made wonderful family memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this beautiful lakeside bungalow.

Perfect property for our stay-- plenty of space, lots to do, and great views of Lake Samish. Communication was prompt and friendly as well. I will definitely be returning to this house and staying longer next time!

This property and host were amazing. The booking process and communication were seamless. The photos of the house don’t do it justice - the house was more spacious than anticipated. After arriving in the dark, it was a pleasant surprise to wake up to such a great view of the lake.

Great place to stay. Lovely view of the lake and close to Samish Park. It was all the little thoughtful things that made it extra special. Extra throws in little baskets near sitting area, patio heater to enjoy the view in the cold. Loved the hot tub. Lovely little fire pit. Host was responsive and attentive. Great experience. Will be coming back.

This pretty house was perfect for our family holiday! Such great lake views, fabulous walk to the lakefront park and big spaces to be together. We loved the cozy beds, well stocked kitchen and big dining table for family meals. Laundry room, multiple decks and yards, and jet tub outside were bonuses. This was the hang-out house we were looking for!

I rented this house because it said wheelchair accessible. Well it is not at all. In fact there were many things in and around the that made it not wheel chair friendly. Also, the description said there were a lot of amenities that were not there. For a vacation with kids and big family parties, this house is fine, except there is no lake access. For an older couple or someone using a wheelchair this is definitely not the place.

Below Standard

This home had was unacceptably filthy. It smelled strongly of garbage on entry. We were able to clear that overnight with open doors and windows Water pressure in the master bath was poor. The master toilet did not clear properly leaving a foul stench in the master bedroom and master bath.

The house was clean and there's a beautiful view of the lake. We had a problem with the sump pump in the master bedroom to put a damper on our stay.

Our family get together

We had a nice relaxing time with family and really enjoyed the front porch and the view. The listing said 4 bedrooms and there were only 3. My husband snores very loud so we don’t sleep in the same room but had no choice because the other 2 rooms were occupied by my SIL and my in-laws. On top of that, the bed was hard as a rock, I had to take every blanket I could find to put under us so that the bed didn’t hurt our bodies. I basically had no sleep the entire weekend :-(

Beautiful and Relaxing

I would stay here many times over. Beautiful view in a quiet neighborhood close to hiking. So much wildlife to see when sitting on the front deck with a cup of coffee. The owners were kind to provide coffee, snacks and plenty of fire wood! Excellent spot!

The unit accepts pets but nowhere for our dogs to run safely enclosed.

we had a party of 8 (six adults and 2 teens) . We were told the house would sleep all 8 comfortably. NOT The kids had to sleep on the floor. One on a folded-out pad and one on cushions from the couch. No AC. Outside it was cold and rainy and the house was very humid caused by no air circulation. plenty of steaming channels but no local networks to watch local sports.

The house was perfect for our family for a weekend stay. Kitchen well-equipped and labeled. Bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms were adequate. Outdoor seating has lovely view. The lake is peaceful and the area is scenic, although it is far to markets and dining.

Great view. Very comfortable. Thot we were getting a typical hot tub but it was a jetted bathtub for two. Said it was 4 br but really only 3. Can opener was broken. Multiple trip hazards both inside and out.

Relaxing Vacation Home

This was our first VRBO experience and it was great. The host was very thoughtful and detailed, on arrival the rental perfectly matched the listing. The views of the lake from the home were amazing. We loved our stay and would love to rent this location again.
